Clutching your side and coughing you glared up at Ink with a hate filled eye. Ink just grins cockily making you let out a low and hostile growl, slamming a tendril into his chest and knocking him back into the other side of the clearing as you stood up against the tree. He sputters in surprise and coughs before sitting back up, black ink dribbling down his chin before wiping it away quickly.

"Auch right in the chest cavity! You're still in fighting spirits huh?"

You stumble as you try to stand up on your own and glare down at him, he just shrugs and stands up clutching broomie close to his side before going to grab the red vial from the huge sash around his ribs.

"Fine, lets do it the hard way then octopus. . ."

Your eye widens in worry as you flung yourself forward towards him, grabbing his sash of vials with a tentacle then holding it away from him and backing up to a safe distance away from his damn grabby hands and dammed broomie.

"Yeah. The hard way right squid?"

Ink at first panics at losing his sash then grins and nods to you while cracking his knuckles confidently.

"You do know I like a challenge."

Throwing himself forward aiming to hit you in your bruised side again, you teleport behind him and slam him into the ground with a free and uninjured tendril before backing away at another safe distance. He groans and uses broomie to get up before splashing red paint at you, ducking out of the way you send an attack at him making him jump with surprise. He didn't expect you could since you had looked so worn out and tired.

He quickly paints a wall of inky bones to block it, panting you use your tendrils to get to the high ground in the trees. Ink grins and follows after you quickly.

I need to think of something fast, I can't fight him head on in the state I'm in. . .

Looking at the vials in the sashes small pockets you smirk getting an idea and start to dump the red paint, watching it drizzle down to the forest floor below, Ink gasps and clutches onto the branch he's on, watching as the red ink melts into the snow below and soaks into the ground, disappearing.

"No no noooooo!!! Awh come on do you know how hard it is to fill those things up!?"

Ink groans up at you and you just smirk down at him then teasingly hold out the sash. Knowing just how you can get away from him and this whole mess.

"Oh is this what you want? I wonder which one I should dump out next then. . ."

You climb higher as he tries to get closer to you. In response to his efforts you pour out another vial, this time the green one gets poured out and Ink cries out in a panic.

"Noo! Now hey let's not do anything rash here buddy! Come on please those are really important!"

He laughs nervously and holds his hands up a little bit in surrender. You look down at him then the sash, before chucking the sash as far away as you can manage at this point. Ignoring the pain and exhaustion coursing through your body you run back to the others as Ink yelps and jumps after the sash to look for it.
