Agatha's pov:

Sneaking back inside my house in hopes of not disturbing Y/n I find her, as she said, in front of the TV. I let a sound of awe leave my mouth causing Y/n to jolt up.

Flushed cheeks greets me as she turns around to face me, the little girl in the TV long forgotten.
"You're back!" she smiles and gently raises herself from the couch to avoid a spinning head.
"Yeah" I chuckle and wrap my arms around her, she smells little like lavender and old books. Unlike at Wanda's were it smelled like wet dog.

"Y/n, not to ruin this lovely moment..." I mumble into her hair, wishing, I could freeze this moment forever, but she already pulls away, "we have to talk about what you've been doing to yourself" the last words are mere whispers.
Y/n shakes her head with a pout, "I don't want to, besides, I didn't even know what I did" her pitched voice doesn't cover the frustrated undertone.

Before she manages to turn around and leave I grab a hold of her bandaged hands, but her head is lowered.
"Please look at me" I ask softly, but the witch in front of me doesn't move.
"Y/n, please look at me" I repeat softly, but the woman in front of me shakes her head.

"I don't want to talk about it" her voice is barely audible, "not with you."
Hurt and slightly surprised I let go of her hands and take a step back, "why not?" with a deep breath I collect myself and place my hands on her upper arms, "why won't you talk about it with me?"

I know I haven't been there for her as I should, I didn't return as I should, but I'm here now and I'm the only one who knows about her harm towards herself. I'm also the only one who's willing to accept the truth of the situation. Y/n has always been hard on herself, always the one to take the blame for me just not that once.

"Because, Agnes, I know what you've been doing, I know you're here only for power I know in a few hours you'll be killing that sweet and innocent dog! I don't want to pretend I don't know about everything while you do it." Y/n takes a step back to show the white strings that goes from the tip of my fingers and follow a fine line to her head.

Gasping I pull my hands away to break the link with wide open eyes, "were you reading my mind?" I hold my hands against my chest as if she had injured me. She doesn't trust me. What have I done to abuse her trust? I've been nothing but kind to her even when I wasn't sure who she was and what she was.

"Not on purpose!" she snaps with a heavy breath, "but is it true? Are you only here for powers, again? Haven't you had enough already?"
The confusion is clear in Y/n eyes as she searches around in my living room for proof of innocence, most of all denying what she has discovered.

I swallow dryly, "Y/n, please" I breathe and fell an irritating sting in my eyes, tears, "I didn't know I would meet you here, if I did I wouldn't... I wouldn't have..."

"Wouldn't have what?" Y/n hiss, "wouldn't have planned to steal any power?" she pressed her fingers against her temples as if the next words are harder to find, "perhaps wouldn't have come?"

I take a step back in surprise, a few drops fall from my lower eye line. Wouldn't I have come? Would I have stayed away if I knew Y/n would be here?

Y/n pov:

How dare she even consider it. She should've been denying it the moment the words fell from my lips.

I huff in frustration as I feel my heart beat against my rib cage to the point I think it might break. In love and loathe I stare at the woman in front of me, a woman I never stopped loving throughout our years apart.

Yet I wish to hurt her like she hurt me. I want her to feel betraid, left behind, anything that can bring a stinging to her eyes. She shouldn't be the one insisting to speak of what happened.
