Last words never are meant to bring you joy or satisfaction. It's information you are given to help you move on or grieve or be okay in the end, but for some of us, we are never okay in the end. There is a hole that we can't fill because that person was irreplaceable for a million reasons. But my one reason, she was my mother. My rock, shield, best friend, and even trying to replace her would be impossible.

/// Lousia Pov///

I walked out of Vic's room; I grabbed my phone and ordered some food. I was starving, so I thought. I went up to my room and laid down. My heart shattered at that moment. The pain, the misery, it all flooded me. I had to tell my brothers our mother was killed by our father. Tears rolled down my cheeks. I looked up at the roof of my room.

"I'm sorry I couldn't save you, momma. Please forgive me." I was guilty. I left her there for my safety. I shut my eyes as I dozed off.  My sleep was cut short when I heard yelling downstairs; I got up and headed down there.

"Who the hell are you?" I heard Vincent yell. I took that as a cue to run down the stairs. I saw vincent holding a gun right at Vic. Strange enough, Vic wasn't even scared, not a flinch.

"Vincent put the gun down," I yelled, running in front of Vic.

"Lousia, you are okay? Where have you been? Can we talk? " Vincent questioned me.

"Later okay, first put the gun down. Vic isn't a bad guy."

"Huh, Vic, what kind of name is that" Vincent laughed.

"Shut up, Vincent; what kind of name is that" I yelled back. "I'm sorry, Vincent, we will talk later, I promise, but Vic, can we talk please I need your help."

"Of course, come on, let's go to the pool" Vic placed his hand on my back, leading me out to the pool."

We walked out the back door, locking it behind me.

"what's wrong" Vic questioned.

"I had a nightmare," I whispered. Vic wrapped his arms around me in his embrace.

"I don't know what happened in the dream, but it will get better, I promise." I fell in his embrace.

"Can we stay like this for a minute"

"Anything you want"

"Thank you, Vic."

"I would jump off a cliff for you just to make you happy."

"Why me" I tighten my grip in the hug.

"You have always been here for me, you and your mom's letters..."

"You got our letters; you read our letter." I loosened the grip on the hug.

"Mh,, did you not get my letters."
