They soon arrived at the Motel.

"Do you want to wait in the car until I get us a room or do you want to come with me?" Hope said as they pulled into the parking lot. Josie ended up falling asleep in the car, The concerning part is she would flinch every couple of seconds. Hope looked over realizing Josie had fallen asleep. She frowned as she noticed Josie flinching. Hope decided to go ahead and get them a room so she could figure out why Josie had been flinching.

"I guess I'll be going alone then." She muttered before leaving the car and going to get them a room.

Josie wakes up in nothing but pitch black. She looks around and sees nothing but her subconsciousness standing right in front of her. Her dark side,

"What are you doing here!" Josie screams. Her subconsciousness gives her a chuckle,

"Just know that I will never let you be happy, not with Hope, not with anybody,"

"What do you mean not with Hope?" Josie questions. Josie's subconsciousness laughs evilly,

"I know you have feelings for her, you're just too scared to admit it because she still can't get over a little Landon. If I were you I'd tell her how I truly feel no matter if it hurts her or not, I wouldn't care if I hurt her anyway, so maybe it's best if I wasn't you," She smirks,

"But you know what? I am you and you have yet to admit and accept that."

"Of course I like Hope, I love Hope! But I am a decent human being and I will let her move on and take the time that she needs before telling her that," Josie sighs,

"I'm not gonna do any more damage to her than what has already been done, now get out of my head!" Josie's subconsciousness smirks,

"If you say so, just know that I will always be here making your life worse and slowly killing you inside." Josie bolts awake as Hope was opening the door to wake her up,

"H-Hope?" She stutters.

"I got us a room," Hope said holding up the key, "Are you alright?" Hope asked noticing something was off with Josie, but she wasn't sure what.

Josie blinks rapidly looking at hope,

"Y-yeah I'm fine," she says getting out of the car,  "Let's go,"

Hope nodded not entirely convinced that Josie was fine. She then grabbed a couple of bags from the car.

"We're on the first floor in room 6," Hope told her.

"Okay," she grabs the rest of the bags from the car and follows Hope into the room,

"This is actually pretty nice for a motel," Hope nodded in agreement,

"Yeah although the guy at the front desk is a bit sketchy." She said as she stepped into the room putting the bags in her hands on the floor.

"I don't know why but he looked oddly familiar to me," Josie says, putting the bags down.

"Odd. Maybe we'll get lucky and he was just some human local you saw at the Mystic Grill." Hope said to her hopefully.

"But seriously, why did he look like my aunt Elena's son?" Josie asks, looking at Hope. Hope shrugged,

"Maybe he is." She said as she sat on the bed in the hotel room.

"That's not good."

"Why's that?" Hope asked curiously as she didn't know much about the Salvatore children.

"Well... if it's who I think it is, then I'm screwed," Josie says.

Hope sighed "May I ask why that is?" She asked.

"Well, if he's the cousin I'm thinking of," She sighs, taking a pause......

"He likes me," Josie says.
