Hope smiled. "Thank you for being here."

"Why wouldn't I be here?"

Hope shrugged.

"You could have chosen to give up on me and let me go, but you didn't."

"I guess that shows how much I care, being that everyone else would have most likely given up by now," Josie smiles.

"But you didn't." She said happily.

"What reason would I have? You saved me when Dark Josie was around, that was all weird," She laughs.

"Yeah well so was your fairytale subconscious." Hope pointed out.

Josie laughs,

"Yeah! That one was trippy~" She emphasizes, giggling.

Hope smiled. "Yeah, it was strange."

"I'm going to try to get some sleep," She smiles, "Is that okay with you?

"That's fine with me. Get some sleep,"

"Thanks, Hope, goodnight,"

[2 AM]

Josie wakes up, hearing something outside. She gets up and pulls the curtain to see nothing, but she soon gets forced onto a wall. Not being able to process what's going on, Josie does nothing, as she is being force-fed blood by this mysterious person who broke in. Next thing you know, Josie is laying on the floor with her neck snapped, surrounded by a puddle of blood.

Hope woke up to see Josie on the floor with her neck broken. "Josie?" She asked quietly. Hope quickly noticed the person in the room. She then used her magic to pin them to the wall. Hope resisted snapping the person's neck, but she needed to know who they were and why they were here. The mysterious person took off her mask. It was revealed to be Penelope, Josie's ex,

"Welcome back Andrea," Penelope smirks. She punches her in the shoulder, swings her around, and pins her on the other wall choking her.

Hope quickly got over her shock that it was Penelope that broke into her room and not some stranger. The Tribrid kicked the other girl to get her off of her. She then turned around to face Penelope.

"You killed her," Hope said her voice slightly hoarse from Penelope essentially choking her. "Now allow me to return the favor."

"I didn't kill her," Penelope starts, "I turned her into one of my minions. You know, after I broke up with my ex-boyfriend, who ended up turning me into a vampire, I said to myself, 'I should take advantage of such power I was given.' I was given so much power, and after he left me, I just... turned it off. It's been working so well for me, but now, it's about time I return the favor to Josie after all the pain, and usage she's been through," She smirks.

Hope rolled her eyes.

"You see that is never going to happen because no matter how powerful you are. You'll never be as powerful as me," she said before using her magic to snap the other girl's neck.

Josie wakes up on the floor, dazed and confused. She sees right before her eyes, Penelope, being killed by Hope Mikaelson. A feeling of hunger rises before her, as she sits up, confused. Hope turned to see Josie was revived.

"Josie." She said relieved. "Are you alright?"

"No... I feel..." She stands up, "Weak, and hungry, what happened?" She looks at Hope.

Hope sighed and knelt on the floor beside her. "I don't know how to tell you this, but long story short Penelope is a vampire." The Tribrid sighed before continuing. "And she turned you. You're in transition." Hope added quietly. Josie takes a minute to process what she heard Hope say. She walks over to Hope,

"So I have to feed... or I'll die?" Hope nodded.

"Yeah. That sounds about right."

"Let's go to the kitchen then, I'm sure there's a stash in there..."

"I'm pretty sure it's mostly animal blood, but we can try there. First, we should take care of well that." She said pointing to Penelope.

Josie takes a step towards her killer, takes a weapon, and slices her throat. She proceeds to drink the blood, oozing out of it.

"Well, that's one way to take care of her. Although she probably tastes bitter." Hope told her. "But then again you probably don't have much else to compare it to." She added quietly

"I feel so much better," She smirks, looking at Hope with a mouth full of blood. The blood was an odd color, it was almost... black? Penelope made sure to fill her body with dark magic before this occurrence, almost predicting that she was going to be killed. For good measure, Hope ripped out Penelope's heart so she could never cause them any more pain at least so she hoped. She found the blood strange as it was surprisingly dark.

"I'm glad you feel better, but any idea why the blood is black?" She asked slightly confused.

"Does it matter? I'm alive and she's dead! I don't have to eat, sleep," A strange feeling hits Josie, "Hell, I don't have to care,"
