───────"(Y/n)-san?" Chifuyu's voice cut through your trance, gentle but tinged with the hesitancy of someone unsure if they were intruding. His eyes squinted slightly, observing you from across the room, curiosity sparking in his gaze as he noticed you staring, utterly dazed, at the door.

You didn't even process Chifuyu's polite use of 'san' this time──an odd but endearing formality of his──because your mind was still reeling. You blinked, your eyes slowly focusing as the sight before you crystallized, triggering a warm rush of amusement that bubbled up in your chest.

Your hand shot up to cover your mouth, but a series of soft, stifled giggles slipped out regardless. "Pfft—..." you tried to hold back, shoulders quaking with barely-contained laughter as your eyes traveled up and down. "Kei, what...hahaha...what—what kind of get-up is that?"

The culprit of your laughter, Keisuke Baji, stood before you with a grim expression, entirely unamused. He hadn't warned you, hadn't even hinted, that he'd arrive looking like... this. Dark-rimmed glasses perched awkwardly on his face, too large, and far from stylish. The straight-laced, almost bookish look was so far removed from his usual wild demeanor that it was like seeing a wolf dressed as a sheep.

Keisuke narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms, his voice firm with a dash of indignation. "The glasses can make me smart."

Your laughter sputtered to a halt as your expression morphed from amused to deadpan, staring at him with exaggerated seriousness. "No, it can't."

His brows furrowed slightly as he held his ground, refusing to let the matter go. "Can."

"Can't."

"Can."

"Can't."

"Can."

"Can't."

You raised a brow and grinned triumphantly, pleased with yourself. "Ha! Got you!" The smug satisfaction in your voice was impossible to miss. Keisuke's eyes went wide for a moment, realizing he'd fallen right into your verbal trap. His jaw dropped slightly, frustration bubbling up as he scowled, beginning to grumble under his breath about how you always pulled these stunts. Meanwhile, you stuck your tongue out in a taunting gesture.

"Who told you wearing glasses could make you smart? That's stupid." You shook your head in feigned disbelief, and Baji scoffed, casting an annoyed glance away from you, clearly trying not to let you get under his skin any further.
