-You know what this is, you knew it would come eventually-

"Foolish you need to calm down!" Sam told the ex-god. "B-but I" "Foolish! It's okay, we just want you to relax, ok?" Ponk told him. "I-I can't!" The three of them were currently standing under the open pyramid in L'Sandburg. Sam and Ponk have backed Foolish up into a wall so he couldn't run anymore, them having been chasing him for hours beforehand. The two had recently figured out that Foolish had the Hanakai disease and that he had feelings for them. When they found out they tried to sit him down and talk about it but he was so anxious that he ran. That was yesterday. 

  And they've been chasing him around since. But, they finally caught him in the corner of his own creation, trying to finally sort this out. Foolish was currently backed up completely into the wall and tearing up quickly. This worried both Sam and Ponk, they only wanted to talk to him not make him upset. Sam reached out a hand to Foolish and grabbed his. "Foolish," "No." The ex-god cut him off. "Don't, I know and I'm sorry! I know you guys are already in a relationship and, I-I didn't mean to! I just, I can't control my feelings! And with us hanging out so often recently it just kinda happened and, god I'm so so sorry!" Foolish ranted, a river of tears flowing down his golden cheeks. 

  He buried his face in his hands, and slid down the wall behind him. With Sam still holding onto his hand he slowly dropped as well. Ponk walked over and sat down to Foolish's side. "Foolish, you're okay, we just want to talk," Ponk said. Foolish looked up from his hands, the tears flowing still, but not dripping down his face as fast as they were before. Sam lifted his hand from Foolish's to his face, wiping away some of his tears. "Don't cry please," Sam begged. A few sniffles from Foolish and the tears slowed even more, him calming down a bit. "Can we talk now? It's a little hard when you're running for a day and a half." Ponk said, trying to lighten the mood a bit. 

  "Y-yeah, okay. . ." Foolish mumbled. His eyes widened suddenly. The weight in his chest from days earlier had suddenly increased and he already knew why. "Nhg!-" Foolish grunted. He clenched his stomach, toppling over on himself. He took a hand and covered his mouth as he started to cough violently. Sam patted Foolish's back gently, he and Ponk already knew what was happening and tried to stay as calm as possible. 

  But inside they were freaking out, they knew Foolish had the Hanakai disease and they knew the effects of it, but they had never seen it happen. And seeing it happen to Foolish was breaking their hearts. After a minute Foolish's coughing slowed and the two noticed the blood dripping down his hand. He pulled his hand away and the flowers, petals, and vines all covered in blood were now visible in his hand. Ponk and Sam wanted to cry about the fact that Foolish didn't even flinch at the sight, just staring blankly without it. The light in his eyes had flickered out and the spark of joy he brought to every moment was gone. "I-is it that bad every time?" Sam asked. 

"It's usually worse than that actually, it's probably gonna be bad later." "This happens to you more than once a day!?" Ponk yelled, clearly worried. Foolish turned to him, the tears coming back and gave him an emotionless smile. "Yeah." He simply said. Ponk jumped onto Foolish and tackled him to the floor with a hug. "Ponk!?" Foolish yelled, his back landing on the hard floor with a small thud. Ponk acted like he was holding on for dear life, not even thinking about ever letting go of Foolish. Speaking of, Foolish felt himself being lifted back into a sitting position from behind. 

  He was placed in someone's lap, who he could only assume was Sam, and got comfortable in the position he was in. "We're sorry." Sam sighed from behind. Foolish turned his head to Sam to give him a confused look. "Sorry for what?" the ex-god asked. "We're the ones who did this to you, and we couldn't be feeling any worse about it." Ponk continued Sam's previous sentence. "But it wasn't your fault! I brought this upon myself," Foolish argued. "Like you said Foolish, you can't control your feelings. So, it's not your fault." Sam argued back. 

  "Dang it Sam why must you use my words against me!" Foolish shouted with a laugh. Sam just shrugged. "Listen Foolish," Ponk said. Foolish turned back to Ponk and sighed, waiting for this to be done. Ponk lowered the bottom part of his mask, revealing his mouth as well as having his eyes still showing. He loosened his grip on Foolish and leaned up and towards his face. He gave him a peck on the lips and went back to holding onto him tightly. 

  "We love you Foolish." He mumbled into Foolish's chest. "Yes, we do." Sam said. He turned Foolish's head by his chin to face him again. Ponk let go for a minute to let him completely turn around to face Sam. When Foolish looked at his face he saw that Sam had taken the mask on his face of as well. Similarly to Ponk, Sam gave Foolish a peck and held him tightly. "We didn't mean to scare you, we just wanted to say that." Sam said. 

  At this point Foolish's face was bright red. The feeling in his chest has gone and he was feeling better. He immediately hugged Sam as tightly as he was holding him. "Woah, you okay Foolish?" Sam asked him. "Yes! Yes, I better than okay!" Foolish replied not letting go of him. "Yay!" Ponk cheered from behind them. He hugged Foolish from behind and laughed. 

  "We love you Foolish!" He giggled. Foolish let go of Sam and sat in a position where he was looking at both of them. He took his hands and cupped one of each of their cheeks. "I love you guys too. So much!" He shouted excitedly. Sam and Ponk both tackled him to the ground in a hug, (again) and laughed. "Thank you." Foolish said hugging them back. "For what?" Sam asked. With a smile and a heart filled with love, Foolish replied. "For being the light in my life."
