Taehyung's POV
Seokjin was my father's friend's son, and we knew each other since our childhood.
He was 2 years younger, so when I got busy with high school and initial years of university, I couldn't keep up with him, but still he was very precious to me.
I was studying music and also had a special class for acting, in Hankuk University of Arts.
When I heard of Seokjin joining our university as a Fashion Designing major, I was over the moon.
In the years I had not been able to be in much contact with him, I realised I liked him as more than just a friend. Now him being in the same university, was going to give me a chance to show him that, and maybe if I was lucky, and he reciprocated those, even get together.
That did not happen though, as you know by now.
Before I could even work on courting him, Jin was already head over heels for my best friend.
Something about them was so perfect, that even if I had to give up on my feelings, and play the Cupid, I couldn't come to despise either of them.
Flashback
-12 years ago"Tae hyungie, are you sure your friend there is alright? He looks so annoyed even here at this party. I saw him earlier today at school, and he didn't even answer my greeting, so I thought maybe because he is tired from classes, but now that I see that expression on his face again, I can tell that he's a whole grandpa." Seokjin cutely said, copying Jungkook's facial expression. I couldn't help but giggle, and hit him lightly on his arm.
"Jinnie, cut him some slack. He's been really busy coming up with his collection for the annual Hankuk Fashion Week. He isn't even eating or sleeping properly these days. Hangs up on me whenever I call him to go get some drinks together or just stroll around. He didn't even want to come here today, but it's my album release party, which wouldn't be complete without him, and so I did whatever I had to do to convince him to attend. Plus his temper, lord, he scares away all the juniors working with him, and then screams at me for having to manage it all on his own. Him, and his knack for perfection. So, I don't think he purposely ignored you, he's just on his 'I hate this world' mood." I said smiling, and handing Jin his beer.
"So you mean, he needs someone to help him out? Hyung, can you please help me out, and get him to take me on his team? Jungkook sunbae is really talented, and I would LOVE to work with him on this. PLEASE?" He smiled, and started giving me puppy eyes, requesting me to ask Kook to let him assist him.
"I just told you his temper is not really good, and knowing you, you wouldn't last a day. I wouldn't want to see you crying on your way out, so don't even try." I placed an arm on his shoulder, as I muttered the truth to him.
"Hyung I am more capable of handling this, than you think I am." He said winking.
Seokjinnie, stop, my weak heart can't take this!
Though I knew Jungkook could scare him off, and I didn't want Jin to cry over it, Jin's cuteness made me agree to all that he said, and so I suggested his name to Jungkook that night.
Present Day, Paris
"Jimin ssi, I think you should take him back to his room, and get him to rest a bit. This day has been awfully long for all of us. And I'll go talk to Jungkook." I said getting up.
No matter what happened between them in the past, or even today, Jungkook shouldn't have crossed the boundaries like that. Those vile words, Jin didn't deserve any of those.
