Seokjin's POV
"Jungkook, I don't really know what you usually have for breakfast, so I hope Kimchi jeon and coffee will do." I muttered calmly, without turning around, because if I did, I knew my voice would falter.
"Are you insane? You think I'm here at your house to have breakfast?! Seriously, Seokjin? Wait, I don't even know why I'm here! Will you answer me? Or do you want to answer my lawyer?" Jungkook, as expected, scoffed as loud as he could.
"Did you take the medicine? Is your headache better now? Sit down please, we have a lot to talk about. And please do not take your anger out on the food." I spoke, still not facing him, but concentrating on the jeon in my pan.
"It's really funny, how brazen you are Seokjin. How do you even act like nothing really happened, after doing that to me?!" He questions, laughing at the end, the kind of laughter being the one, where the eyes speak a different story, and tears are just at the corner of the eyes, hiding, so as to not give out the truth.
"Jungkook, at least listen to me-" He stops me midway.
"We- We have nothing to talk about! I'm calling my assistant right now, and getting out of here. I can't even stand to see your face a minute longer, so fuck your reasons, and fuck your talks, I'm out!!" He yells, stomping away towards the guest room, probably to get his cell phone.
I'm at a loss of words, and don't really know what to do. By the looks of it, it's clear that he won't give me a chance to talk to him, unless he isn't in his right mind, and until I don't lay out the whole truth to him, he wouldn't ever understand, nor would I be able to be in peace for the rest of my life.
I hear my phone ringing in the living room, and I don't really want to pick it up right now, but it could be Hobi's, to update me on Jimin, so I go and check.
It shows 2 missed calls and multiple texts from Dongmin, my secretary.
"Dongmin? Why is Dongmin calling me at 8:39am on a Sunday?" I chuckle nervously, as I think of all the reasons that could have led to this.
I call him back, because it's better than checking the texts first. He can just directly give me the information on whatever it is about.
He picks up the call almost instantly.
"Hello! Good Morning Sir. Apologies for calling you so early on an off day. I did not want to disturb you at this hour. I figured you might have been sleeping, but since something important came up, I had to contact you. I'm really sorry, sir." Dongmin stated apologetically, without even giving me a chance to say something.
"It's okay. I've been working with you for 3 years now, Dongmin-ah. I know you. It must've been something serious for you to act this way. So.. what is this about?" I inquired softly.
"Sir, were you perhaps at Club Golden Closet, at around 2-2:30am today? A journalist from Elixir has apparently taken your pictures, which appear to be with Chairman Jeon of NinetySeven. The pictures and the article over it, has been released on their website and social media accounts early this morning, and we're currently trying to take them down. The PR team is working on it. I needed to contact you regarding the final response from our side. Are we giving out a statement or not sir?"
This sets off an internal panic in me, but I try to calm myself down, before I start getting hysterical right infront of Jungkook. I'm sure if that's the case, by now he has gotten multiple texts and calls from Soobin ssi too. The storm is right around the corner, and I'm being blown away in seconds. Great! Just great!
"No. We're not releasing anything to the press. Just work on taking it all down quickly, okay?" I respond to Dongmin, after my inner monologue finishes.
