~*Selever's POV*~ (The next morning)

"She's so cute," Carol whispered as she took a picture of Lilac fast asleep on my chest while drooling.

"Just. Get Lilac off me. She's not my child," I whispered.

"Nope. Maybe you shouldn't have played video games with her until midnight," Carol chuckled as she took another picture. "Okay, I'm sending that one to Ruv and Whitty,"

"Don't you dare," I hissed. Lilac yawned and stretched as she slowly opened her eyes.

"Good morning, Lilac," Carol purred with a smile.

"Morning," She whispered as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. "What time is it?" She asked. I looked at the clock on the wall.

"10:03?"

"So we have about two hours until we have to hand you back to your parents," Carol yawned.

"Alright, auntie," Lilac responded as she slid off the couch. "I'm going to change," She skipped towards the bedroom.

"Auntie?" I asked.

"Yea, she calls me that. Probably because I'm close friends with Whitty," Beads of sweat rolled down her face.

"Okay, cool," I responded. "I'm going to make breakfast," I stood up and walked over to the kitchen.

"I'll help," Carol chirped.

"Aight!"

~*15 minutes later and Lilac's POV*~

"You ready, Lilac?" Selever asked as he put down the plates.

"Yea?" I responded. I looked at the plates with curiosity and confusion.

"Aight! Since you aren't used to this whole food thing. I decided to make some things that are simple and not so threatening," Selever beamed. "With the help of Auntie Carol, of course," I looked up at Selever than at auntie.

"This time, we made some grilled cheeses and bacon and egg toasts," I looked at the plates again. I giggled when I saw a smile carved into one of the sandwiches.

"What's that?" I asked while pointing pointed at the plate.

"That's grilled cheese. I thought a way to make it less threatening is to carve a smile into it," Selever responded.

"Can I try it?" I asked.

"Sure, pinkie pie," Selever said as he handed it to me. I picked up the sandwich and bit into it. The cheese was gooey and warm, and the bread was crunchy, but it quickly fell apart.

~*Carol's POV*~

Lilac purred as she munched on a grilled cheese sandwich.

"Lilac, calm down. You're getting cheese everywhere," I chuckled as I used a napkin to wipe some cheese off her nose and cheeks.

"Sorry, auntie," Lilac smiled.

"There you go," I said. Lilac took another bite but instantly spat it out. Tears started to swell in her eyes. "Lilac! Are you alright?" I asked as I put my hands on her shoulders.

"H-Hot!" She cried. There was a bright greenish glow coming from her mouth.

"Here!" Selver yelled as he slammed down a glass of milk. Lilac picked it up and chugged it.

Lilac gently placed the cup back onto the table and hugged me.

"Are you alright, little one?" I asked as I softly rubbed her back.

"It hurts and slightly burns," Lilac whimpered.

"It's okay, Lilac," I whispered. "How about we get you some treats later if you feel better?"

"Y-Yea," Lilac responded in a weak voice.

"Alright," I responded as I let her go. "Want to finish your grilled cheese after it cools down a little or not?" Lilac looked up at me and nodded.

~*A hour later*~

I was sitting in the waiting lobby as I munched on chocolate. Selever and Lilac were playing laser tag, and I'm pretty sure that they're on opposite teams.

"Carol!" Selever yelled. "We're done!" I looked over and saw Selever walking out of the laser tag zone with Lilac in his arms. I stood up and almost dropped my chocolate.

"How was it?" I asked as I put another piece of chocolate into my mouth.

"It was fun!" Lilac purred.

"Well, we have about an hour until we have to hand you back. How about we get something to eat?" I asked as I dumped the chocolate pack into the bin.

"Yea! Pasta!" Lilac chirped and almost fell out of Selever's arm.

~*Selever's POV*~

I held Lilac like a child.

"Careful, Lavender!" I patted her back.

"It's Lilac," Lilac spoke up.

"Lilac, Lavender. Similar names," I responded. "Hold her, Carol," I grumbled as I held Lilac out for Carol. Carol looked at me in confusion as she took Lilac and held her. Carol stroked Lilac's hair as Lilac wrapped her arms around Carol's neck and put her head onto Carol's shoulder.

"Okay, let's go, children," Carol smiled.

"Aren't you like, 19?" I asked. "You're not that much older than me,"

"Well, I'm still the oldest here, so that makes me responsible for the both of you," Carol chuckled as we made our way out of the arcade.

"Also, I'm the only one at legal age to do most shit not even you, Selever, can do," Carol hummed.

"No!" Lilac put her hands onto Carol's cheeks. "No swears!" Lilac hissed quietly. Lilac returned to hugging Carol. Carol looked up at me in confusion, and I stared back at her. Her face looked like she was saying, 'What's happening?' and I shrugged in response.

"Hey, Lilac," Carol spoke up. When she patted Lilac's back, Lilac let a soft meow as she looked up at her. "How about we get some food before going home?" Carol asked.

"Cake?" I asked. "Ooo, how about pizza?" I smirked as I did jazz hands.

"Fine, just as long you guys don't go hungry," Carol sighed.

~*Lilac's POV*~

"There's a pizza place!" Selever yelled as he pointed at a place with a blue and red domino piece.

"Aight, let's go," Carol chirped as Selever ran off towards the store, and Carol followed. Selever impatiently hopped back and forth as he waited for Carol and me. "Took you guys long enough," Selever complained.

"Well, maybe you shouldn't have run ahead," Carol responded. "Also, what should we get? So we're prepared,"

"Pepperoni pizza and Pepsi," Selever said as he wayed from side to side. Carol looked down at me.

"What about you?" Carol asked with a smile.

"C-Cheese? And Fanta," I whispered.

"Okay, we all decided we want, so let's go," Carol chirped as she entered the pizza shop.
