"What?!"
Acacia shows me my phone.
Hey. My name's Arthur. Um I think i've seen you around school and I want to get to know you better.
"Told you he was into you."
I roll my eyes. I take my phone out of her hand and throw it in my purse. I turn the music up and jam out to it with Acacia. We pull up to the park and sit for a few minutes in the car and drink starbucks and check instagram.
I take a selfie and post it on instagram and not even 2 minutes after, Arthur likes it and comments. Acacia sighs and jumps out of the car and races me to the swings. I smile and quickly pull my key out and beat her to the swings.
"I could beat you in my sleep!"
"Really? Cause I just proved you otherwise!"
10 minutes pass by and Acacia and I haven't stopped talking. I'm gonna miss her. I'm gonna miss her a lot. My phone starts ringing.
"Hey your phones ringing."
"Way to state the obvious Acacia!"
I jump off the swing and answer the phone. "Hello?"
"Hey. Are you busy?"
"Um kind of. Why?"
"Where are you right now?"
"At blacklick park with Acacia."
"Do you mind if I come join you?"
"No, but aren't you at work?"
"Just got off. I'm on my way. See you there!"
"Okay! Bye."
I hang up my phone and skip over to Acacia.
"What was that about?"
"Um. Arthur is coming to join us."
"Cool. Just keep the PDA to a minimum. Okay?"
"Shut up."
We laugh. She completes me. Arthur pulls up. I smile. He waves.
"Hey!"
"Hey party crasher!"
He runs over to us.
"So you ready for school?"
"Well not really."
Acacia gasps.
"Promise me you'll stay calm!"
"Why?!"
"She's here..."
