Finding You Again [Itachi X Female Y/n]

(Y/n's POV/ Time skip One year later)

Finally.....I have surpassed Uncle Hiashi and...I can go back home..FINALLY! I get to see Naru, Sassy Buns, Sakura-chan, Shiha, Hataka, Izu, And lastly......Itachi-kun...I've matured but...I've just now figured out my feelings towards him..I'm in love with the one and only Itachi Uchiha...But when I somewhat confessed to him two years ago.....He..Didn't want me to fall in love with him..

I pack all of my things and make my way downstairs. I see Kaito, Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, Shigeru, Sir Rasa, And Uncle Hiashi sitting at the table waiting for me. I go and sit down where my name tag had been moved to which was right in-front of Sir Rasa's seat.

"Y/n Uzumaki-Hyuga, I am proud to say that we have trained you here. You've improved more than anyone who has ever came here and in the shortest amount of time. You have been awarded with an early leave as you no longer need training from us. Remember kid, You can always get stronger. We have re-stocked your Ninja Pouch and Hand-made a new outfit. Everyone has also prepared a gift for you, That includes me. Thank you for staying here. You will see the kanji symbol of strength on your left shoulder, This shows that you have improved greatly and you are now at Jonin level strength. As the Kazekage, You are now promoted to Jonin. Please, Walk around and farewell us all. You've taken good care of us." Sir Rasa announces. I smile as I get up from my seat. 

First I walk to Kaito, He gives me a Dango making kit with a specialized Hyuga painted Kunai. Then, I walk over to Gaara. He gives me a little gord that looks exactly like his with a note. I smile at his adorable gesture. Then I walk to Temari and She gives me a small fan replicating her own.

Ahhhh, I see what's going on here

I smile at her as I walk over to Kankuro. As I somewhat expected, He gives me a small puppet which is controlled by chakra cords. I walk over to Shigeru, He gives me three new black and white shuriken which have (Y/n, U, H) Printed on them. I then walk over to sir Rasa. He stands up hugging me and when he let's go, He gives me a large scroll in which I can sign and get my summoning. I bow. Lastly I walk over to Uncle Hiashi. He tears up as he gives me a bear hug.

"I am so proud to be able to call you my niece. I'm sorry for how i've treated you in the past..." he says. He lets go and as I look up...

Oh.

My.

Fucking.

God.

It's the green Hyuga scroll. This scroll tells you how to get into the Hyuga's ancestor layor. This leads you to another scroll in which has the Hyuga clans secret jutsu. I still have no clue as to what it is but i'd love to find out.

I walk back to my seat. 

"Thank you everyone. I will miss you all. And as for Sir Rasa, Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, And Shigeru. I will come and visit whenever possible. I will also apply for missions over here!" I exclaim.

"Follow Shigeru Y/n, He will lead you to your new outfit along with your other things that need to be brought back with you. We found a box in your room full of letters, We've gently packed it with your other stuff.

"Alright Y/n, We'll be waiting for your return. Remember that your always welcome back to the Hidden Sand" Shigeru states, Giving me a large close-eyed smile while giving me a warm hug. This causes me to smile. I'm gonna miss all of them but.....Ever since that mission with team 7....I've been worrying about both Sassy and Itachi. I'm not entirely sure of what happened but I think that they've drifted because of Itachi's training. Uncle Fugaku also hasn't been around in a few months or so, So that's also hinting at my conclusion.

"Oh, Well looks like Tenzo-san's here to get me! Good by Shigeru!" I exclaim, Loosening myself from his warming hug. He waves at me as I make my way towards Tenzo-san.

"Hello Y/n, I would just like to inform you before we leave....You should try to keep your distance from Itachi...He's well..Changed.." He informs me.

Itachi....Changed!? What is that supposed to mean! hehe.......heh...He's okay though right? he's still Itachi! He won't mind if I go see him right? Right!?....

"O-okay Tenzo-san...." I reply. I just hope that Itachi's doing okay y'know.....I'm worried about him.. I'll go see Sassy first. Mikoto sent me a letter saying that she has arranged a supper for my coming home but that Itachi will not be able to make it...

(Time skip/ The Uchiha House Hold)

I walk up to the front door and knock with my right hand while holding my baggage in my left. The door opens and I see...

"Mikoto! I've missed you so much!" I exclaim, Smiling at her as tears of happiness start to form in my eyes. "Y/n? Oh My Great Konoha! Y/N is that you!?" She questions. Clearly i've changed. My hair's grown out, I've gotten quite a bit taller, I've also slimmed down a bit as training was very intense. Though, Sir Rasa always made sure I had three meals a day asking if I wanted snacks as well.

"Yes! It's the one and only!" I exclaim. She gives me a warm-welcoming hug with her bright smile beaming a hole into the sky above.

"I'm so SO sorry but uh....I think you'll have to wait a little bit to come in. Itachi's getting ready, He has a very Important mission tonight. He isn't even allowed to tell his own family what the mission is for." Mikoto says, Looking down to her light brown ninja sandals.

I nod my head. "Th-that's alright, I don't mind waiting a little longer." 

She smiles as she shuts the door.

I wait outside the house on the porch as I was told. Itachi walks out but as I go to say hi....He just... glares at me and....Disappears?....

Itachi......What has gotten into you..

Hey! So this is the last chapter I will be publishing until Tuesday my time. I will start trying to publish 2-3 chapters on Tuesdays, Thursdays, And every other Saturday. I promise that I will keep up to my schedule and post an update to my conversation board if for some reason I can't. I am working and have been working really hard on this story since October 2021.
