Finding You Again [Itachi X Female Y/n]

(Y/n's POV)

"Guy, I just wanted to tell you that Kakashi is doing okay. I saw him earlier today at Obito's grave. You don't have to worry about him any more. I'll let you guys know if I find anything out that your allowed to be informed of alright?" I say, smiling at Naru-san and Sassy buns.

They both nod their heads as me and Naruto go to sit on the couch. As we do this Auntie Kushina and Uncle Minato come down the stairs.

"Oh! Uncle Minato. Lord Third recommended asking you to train me? I was just wondering if maybe that was possible..?" I ask. Uncle Minato nods his head. "At a different time Y/n" He smiles slightly.

"So.... I've come up with something..Sasuke, Would you like to stay here or at my house?" I ask him. He looks up at me confused. I then realize him blushing and looking behind me. When I turn around I just see Naru-san......Smirking..?

"I-i'll uh... I'll stay here for now Y/n-chan.." Sassy buns replies nervously scratching the back of his neck. "Okay Sasuke" I giggle, smiling at him.

Suddenly we hear a knock on the door.

Well....That was quick..

Auntie Kushina answers the door and Kakashi walks in.

"I hope you don't mind but Lord Third and I need Y/n" Hataka states. I look at Naruto and Sasuke for approval to which they both just nod they're heads.

"Auntie Kushina, Uncle Minato.. Thank you again for letting him stay here. He is welcome at my house anytime. Oh! Also, Lord Third might call Sasuke and Naruto down to his office. I just wanted to let you know they didn't do anything and aren't in trouble" I explain.

"Anytime sweetie! And alright, Thank you for telling us! We wouldn't want them getting in trouble for not doing anything y'know!" Auntie Kushina exclaims. I smile noding my head in agreement.

"Okay, See you guys!!" I finish, walking out the door with Hataka.

"I'm probably gonna be questioned. I'm assuming that's why your also getting called down. If it gets to be too much...Let me know okay? I'll ask for a break" Hataka comforts me. "Thank you Kakashi..." Is all I can mutter out.

Hataka and I continue to walk towards Lord Thirds office in a comfortable silence. As we get there and go to open the door.... It's opened for us..

"O-oh! Hello Y/n! Haven't seen you in a bit?" Shigeru says.

"Sh-Shigeru!? Oh My God!! How are you!?" I exclaim. He smiles giving e a hug. But before I can reply..

"I don't believe we've be introduced to each-other" Hataka hisses at him.

Is he.....JEALOUS!?

"Oh! Th-this is my best-friend Shigeru Kazekage! I met him when I was in the hidden sand village" I smile awkwardly.

"A-anyways, We have to go. Sorry Shigeru!!" I exclaim. Quickly grabbing Hataka's arm and running into the Hokage's office.

While we wait in-front of the door to be let in by Lord Third's guards. I just... Stare at Kakashi? Why would he act like that? 

It's not like he likes me...

Right..?

Maybe he was just worried as Shigeru isn't from our village and he hugged me out of nowhere? Yeah! I'm sure that's it!

"Hataka..... What was that about...?" I ask. He keeps his head down before looking at me with a smile shining through his mask.

"What was what Y/n? I just... Didn't know the guy?.." He replies, Almost questioning his response.

"You are welcome to gain entrance. Just so you know there will be a meeting coming up with your new team. It's going to be held tomorrow at 3:30pm in the hokage's office. Please bring your ninja tools as your team will be escorting sir Tazuna back to his village in the Land Of Waves." Genma Sensei informs us. "Yes sensei!" We reply, walking into Lord Thirds Office.

"Welcome Kakashi Hatake and Y/n Uzumaki-Hyuga. Please, Have a seat." Lord Hiruzen says. Hataka and I nod our heads as we sit in-front of Lord Hokage.

"So, We did send off some of the blood found in the Uchiha residents. Most of the blood came back positive for each shinobi but.... Sadly, That's not the case for Moss, Ichika, Fugaku, Mikoto, Izumi, and Shisui. The blood that should've came from them came back as inconclusive. Meaning, We don't have any clues as to what happened to them, If they are dead or alive, And what happened to they're bodies.."Lord Hiruzen states. Hataka and I both look at each-other worried.

"Now..  Kakashi, Do you know anything about what happened? If you do know anything it can be of much help. Oh! Also, About Itachi.... Some blood came back positive for him meaning that he was injured.. So, we do not know if it was actually him or if maybe he was taken as well. Though from what we've had collected from the scene...Everything DOES in-fact point back to him." He continues. 

Hataka and I don't say anything knowing that would be best considering the situation we're in.

Please...Oh god please i'm begging you...Let Itachi be alive and okay..

"Now! For your mission. Kakashi Hatake, You will be taking place as Team Sevens Sensei. Y/n Uzumaki-Hyuga. You are going to be Team Sevens captain. Tomorrow when the graduates at the academy are being assigned their teams, You guys will be getting Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, And Naruto Uzumaki. Right after your going to be tending a C-Rank mission to bring the bridge builder Tazuna back to his village in the Land Of Waves. Understand?" He asks.

"Yes sir!" Hataka replies.

"Yes sir! We do! Just curious though, What's gonna be happening here while we're gone? How is our village going to deal with the Uchiha Massacre?" I question, Worried that nothing's going to happen and that the Uchiha clan is going to be left in vain or be left forgotten about.

"We are going to be sending teams to track down Itachi and anyone else in the Akatsuki. This will give us the advantage. We're also gonna be looking for Orochimaru as he had been wanting the Sharingan along with the Byakugan. This will be difficult and when your team gets back we are sending you off as well." Lord Third finishes.

"Yes sir!" Hataka and I both reply. Getting up and walking out of the Hokage's office.
