Love at first sight//Matthew Espinosa

Chapter 29

Matts POV

I was about to watch Netflix when I felt my phone buzz. I look at the ID and it was from Victoria.

The text said help me. I quickly got in my car and drove to her house. Once I arrived, I heard someone yelling from inside. I got out of my car and busted through the door. 

I saw Victoria and Jake. Jake was raping her, oh my gosh. 

Victorias POV 

"Matt" I yelled once I saw Matt. He came over and started to beat up Jake. While I got myself dressed, I called 911, I can't believe he did that too me. Tears streamed down my face.

When I got done calling 911, Jake was on the floor laughing, and Matt was just standing there. 

"W-why are you laughing" I said. "I can't believe you fell for it, my mom never died" Jake replied. 

Why would he lie about that. I heard sirens and Jake tried to get up but he couldn't. 

Two police officers came in and took Jake. Matt and I were left alone. I never want to see Jake again, ever.

"Are you okay babe, I can't believe he did that" Matt said while starting to tear up. "I'm okay, I guess, I'm just really glad your here now and please don't cry" I replied. 

"We should go to my/the guy's house, for your safety" He said. I nodded and went upstairs to get some clothes to sleep in and other crap.    

Once I went downstairs Matt was waiting on the door steps. He looked back "Ready?" He asked. I nodded and we left.

The whole car ride was just quiet, he was driving and I just looked out the window.

Once we got to "his" house, he helped we get out of the car and we walked hand in hand to the door. When I opened it, I saw Madi just sitting there chewing her nails, when she saw me she immediately went up to me.

"Oh my gosh are you okay? I feel so bad I wasn't there. Are you okay Tori?" She asked. "Yeah I am, kind of" I replied.

We turned the corner into the living room and everyone was there. "Are you okay" Everyone asked. "Yeah, Im fine, thanks guys" I replied. They nodded. 

Matt took me up to his room. "Do you just want to have a lazy day?" He asked. "Yeah, that's what I wanted to do today but...yeah" I replied.

He just nodded his head and turned on the TV and got to Netflix. He went downstairs to do something. 

While he was down there, I decided to call my mom since I haven't in a long time. I pulled out my phone and dialed her number.

"Hello?" she asked. I started to cry. "Honey, whats wrong" She asked. "M-m-mom I g-got almost got raped t-today" I replied. I heard her gasp. "Are you okay? Oh my gosh, sweetie" She replied. I mumbled yes.

"You need to come home soon" she said. "Okay, mom, I will, I miss you and dad" I replied. "Okay good, well goodbye sweetie, I love you" She said. "Love you" I replied. Then she hung up.

Once I put my phone away Matt came in with a bunch of food and drinks. I chuckled and smiled. "There's that smile" Matt said. I chuckled again.

Matt laid down and my head rested on his chest. We put the food around our legs and drinks on the bed side table, and we decided to watch The Notebook on Netflix. [a/n i know its not on there but in here it is okay? lol]  

About 30 minutes into the movie, I just fell asleep, not worrying about the world anymore.
