My eyes fluttered open. I don't even remember getting home. I sighed and relaxed into the blanket and soft pillows, closing my eyes. I was so comfortable but I couldn't ignore the pounding in my head.

"You're awake," he said.

I jumped up, finally observing my surroundings. I wasn't home. I groaned at the pain in my head, me getting up so quickly not helping. "Relax, darlin'."

"Rio? What am I doing here, where am I?" I pulled the blankets off, my eyes widening. I pulled the covers back over me immediately, covering my bare body.

"D-did- did we?" I trailed off. "Did we have-"

"No!" Rio said harshly.

He walked over to me and sat a plate of toast down on the nightstand along with tea. I saw two aspirin on the plate along with the toast. "Isabella you were really drunk. I brought you here and you complained about how hungry you were so I left you here in bed to go get you food. When I came back, you had taken your dress off. You tried to take your underwear off, but I wouldn't let you. I put you in bed, you ate and fell asleep. I came back to check on you and covered you up. You must've taken your underwear off anyways," he explained.

I dropped my head in my hands, shaking it in disbelief. "Oh god, I'm never drinking again."

"It's alright. Eat and take your aspirins."

"Where are we? I have to get home." I asked.

"You're at my house."

"Am I in a different bedroom?" I asked. I didn't recognize the bedroom I fell asleep in yesterday when we had that picnic.

"No. You're at my house, the one I sleep at every night. I told you, the beach house was just another property I own."

I nodded. "Brian's going to be so angry at me." I let out a sigh. "I never stay out."

"I'll drive you back. Eat your toast and take the aspirin." Rio said.

I nodded and he sent me a small smile before leaving me alone again.

I grabbed the toast and smiled once I saw there was grape jelly spread on it, my favorite.

I left her alone to eat and went to our bedroom to get her some clothes to wear home. I'm sure she didn't want to wear that dress and the clothes she had on before were back at the beach house.

I put her in the guest bedroom because I didn't want to put her in ours and she happened to look in the closet and see women's clothing. They were all clothes for her, but I didn't want her thinking I had someone else. I wasn't interested in anyone else, but her.

It fucking hurt how much I loved this girl and couldn't be with her, but I won't have to wait much longer.

I walked in the closet and grabbed her a sweatshirt and some sweatpants. I fought back the urge to get her a different pair of underwear. She would just question me again and I didn't want to creep her out.

I walked back to the guest bedroom and knocked on the door. "Come in," I heard her say.

"I got you some clean clothes to wear. A friend of mines left them when she was staying over. They're washed and clean," I said. They were new.

She smiled. "Thank you."

"No problem. Did you take your aspirin?"

She nodded. "Yes. Thanks for the toast too, grape jelly is actually my favorite," she said.
