Chapter 10: Mind made up?

James!

Anthony's POV:

I need to let everything Trav said sink in before I do something. God, what am I going to do? I can't break up with him because that would just hurt us both. Shit, come on think damn it! If anyone can figure this out it's me! I shake my head I can't come up with a single thing. I look over at Trav with cute little Asher cuddled into his chest, this kid is going to be the death of me.

"I'm not going to break up with him, it's not his fault it's happening. Hell, it's not mine either, just some asshole fucking with our relationship. Maybe I can talk to Rain about it?" Trav shakes his head at me.

"No I don't think that would be a very good idea Anthony and we both know that. You just need time to clear your mind so you can think out a plan of how you are going to fix this." He says I nod with him because he is right, it was a stupid idea and would make everything a lot worse than it already is. Which would not help anyone! This guy sure is an asshole. Why does someone always have to try and ruin things for me? Am I not allowed to be happy? Is it a fucking crime? I lean forward and rest my chin on my hands and think, I have to come up with something some way to keep my job and Asher. If I have to give up one it will be my job for sure since I can work anywhere I want but I can't get another Asher anywhere. It wasn't long until Asher woke up, he sits up and looks around then his eyes meet mine. He breaks out in sobs, and his small body starts shaking.

"Come here, baby." I say opening my arms to him, he jumps up and cuddles into my arms.

"I'm so.. sorry... so so sorry.. I didn't mean f.. for them to.. find out." He says in between cries, I cuddle him to me tighter.

"Shhh, it's okay baby I know you didn't. It's not your fault or mine. And I'm not going to break up with you because of this." I tell him, while slowly rocking us side to side trying to calm him down once he stops crying I pull back from him to look him in the eyes.

"There, do you feel better now?" He gives me a small nod.

"Do you promise not to break up with me?" He asks looking up at me with his big doe eyes. I give him my best smile and nod kissing the top of his head. We sit and talk for a while before it gets to dark out I tell them I have to go and let Zeus out so he doesn't pee all over the house. We all say goodbye and part ways. The drive home doesn't take to long.

"Zeus! Do you gotta go potty puppy?" I ask him in a playful voice, earning a bark from him meaning hell yes I do. I let him out and watch as he runs to the back tree and pee. I shake my head at him as he zooms around the back yard, once he's had enough he runs back to me panting as I let him in the house. He sure is one crazy dog, but that's why I love the baby! After making sure he has food and water I go sit on the couch trying to think about something to do about our little problem. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have pictures of us or he would have shown Asher. Maybe I can just go to the principal and tell her a student Rain is messing with another of my students Asher saying we are dating and making fun of him because he is gay. Then also tell her that we have been seen together since we live next door and I bring him home since both his parents work. Now if the zoo comes up I will just say I was invited by his parents and I couldn't say no. Since his mother was begging me to go. Yeah sounds good! Well good enough, I take out my phone and call Asher we talk on the phone for a good three hours going over to plan make sure he knows everything. I go on to tell him that we will wait a while and see how everything plays out with this Rain kid and see if maybe he's going to be all talk or if he does have something showing we are together together. Because it will be bad if it does get out. There are two problems Asher is 17 and he is my student but on the upside, he will be 18 in two weeks so it's not all that bad, could be like 4 months so I'm thankful it's not. We will just have to see how things go from here, was the last thing I thought before I went to bed that night.
