Plz plz plz plz comment. And if u don't know what to say, answer this question: who's your fav hero of Olympus? (Mine is either Annabeth or Percy) go Percabeth!!!!!!!!!!!! Leo is my third fav.
So, here it is: Chiron or Charon: part one, I hope you like it!!!"Brother!"
"Gah! Oh my gods Tyson, you...really scared me!" Shrieked Percy, clutching his heart.
"Hi Percy!"
"Hi big guy." Tyson squeezed Percy. It was probably supposed to be a hug, but he slid out of it.
"So, what brings you to camp half blood Tyson?" Percy asked, rubbing the spot where Tyson had "hugged" him.
"Well, I wanted to see my brother and...Annabeth!"
"Oh. Okay. Well, you saw me. How bout we go see Annabeth? She's probably at the archery range."
Tyson nodded as they started to walk towards that part of camp.
"So Big Guy, what've you been up to lately?" Asked Percy.
"Well, this morning I took Ella to the library and then I helped heroine her feathers!" Responded Tyson happily.
"Oh, sounds very...exciting. There's Annabeth." Percy pointed to the archery range where an arrow had just planted itself into the bullseye.
"Annabeth's good," said Tyson in awe.
Percy nodded, "she sure is."
Annabeth turned around, "Oh, hi Percy! And...Tyson! I wasn't expecting to see you!"
Tyson hugged Annabeth and Percy could hear a faint little "help!" As he squeezed all the air out of her.
"Ok. Bye Percy! Bye Annabeth!" And then Tyson jumped into the lake.
Annabeth sat down, "Whew...that cyclops...really....knows how to hug," she said, out of breath.
Percy laughed, "He sure does!"
"Hey Seaweed Brain, where is everybody?" Asked Annabeth suddenly.
Percy looked around. The camp was eerily empty. That was weird, during this time of day, the camp was usually bustling with activity.
"I don't know. Is there a meeting or something that we're missing?"
"Well, let's go find out," answered Annabeth.
They were walking near the dining pavilion when Percy stopped.
"Do you hear something?"
Annabeth listened.
"Do you hear it?"
"I can't hear anything when you're yammering like that!"
"Sorry."
Annabeth listened again.
"Yeah. It's like cheering coming from the lake."
"Let's go."
Annabeth and Percy raced to the lake.
It seemed that the whole entire camp was there. They were all surrounding something, but Percy couldn't see what it was. He grabbed Annabeth's hand and pushed his way, maybe a little too rough, through the crowd.
"Watch out, son of Poseidon coming through!" He called.
Finally, they came to the middle.
There was a man standing there, rolling a ball of fire in his hands.
Percy gulped, he recognized that guy.
"What is he doing here?" Asked Annabeth.
"Ah...two familiar faces. I am very surprised you came out of the underworld alive!Come here," said Charon.
Annabeth and Percy walked cautiously forward.
"Now, you might want to know what I'm doing at camp half blood. Well, I have come to take the place of Chiron as activities director. People have called my by his name for centuries now, and I am ready to prove that I am better and funner than he will ever be!" He yelled, bursting into flames.
"Funner isn't a word," muttered Annabeth under her breath.
"But you can't...you can't just kick Chiron out, the gods won't allow it!" yelled Percy.
"Well, Zeus told me that if I wanted to, Chiron and I will have a tournament to see who will be activities director. If Chiron wins, things go back to normal. If I win, Chiron and I switch places," said Charon with a smile.
"But..." Started Percy.
"He tournament begins at sundown." And then Charon disappeared.
"We gotta talk to Chiron," said Annabeth, already sprinting towards the big house."I know."
"Then why aren't you doing anything?" Yelled Percy.
Annabeth put her arm around him, "relax Percy."
Percy shrugged away, "But it's not..."
"I'm still allowed to have some fun, aren't I Percy? If I lose I will respectably go to the gates of the Underworld and Charon will be the next activities director but knowing him, I have a feeling he'll be back at the gates in a day or two. If I win, well, then I'll have bragging rights," said Chiron.
Nobody else said anything.
