A few hours after Marjan leaves, Carlos comes back into his big headspace. I watch as he yawns and stretches out.
"How was your day with your dad?" He asks
"It was good, but I think it would've been better if you'd been there," I respond
"That's nice, also I'm hungry," Carlos says
"Well then let's get some food," I say
We both get up and go to the kitchen. I pull out some butter, lunch meat, and cheese and make up some grilled cheese sandwiches.
