As he is showing me around I feel completely out of place. He takes me through a door leading back to the man hall I look around at all the different things he has on his walls and sitting on the tables. I notice a dagger sitting there and for some reason as if its drawing me to it I walk over to it.
"What are you doing" Lucas ask coming up behind me.
"Who's is this" I ask as my fingers itch to trace its design. Made of pure silver with a snake curving around the handle and two small red diamonds as the eyes of the snake.
"Mine" he says with sorrow in his voice.
"I thought vampires couldn't touch silver I mean.....that's what I used to kill your kind" I say whispering the last part.
"We can't, I just keep it as a reminder" he says. As if calling to me I reach out and touch it tracing all of its curves, moving closer to the blade everything in front of me begins to change and out of instinct I grab the dagger. The area surrounding me changes into a field going from grey to colored. On my knee's sitting in the grass next to a stream of water I lift my head as if I've heard a noise not seeing anything but our cottage I turn back to the stream caressing the baby I carry in my stomach and humming softly. Out of no where my hair is grabbed and my head yanked back. The person holding my hair is Lucas's good friend.
"Angelo what are you doing" I say placing a protective arm across my stomach.
"You know what he is yet you continue to stay and now, now you have his demon inside of you" he spits out yanking my head harder causing me to cry out in pain.
"What are you doing, you are his friend" I say crying.
"No" he yells pulling a silver dagger from his back.
"No please whatever you're thinking don't do it" I cry begging him only he ignores me pulling me to my feet. He raises the dagger above his head before swinging his arm down and stabbing me in the stomach. I cry out in pain, grabbing hold of my stomach and dropping to the ground.
"Let's just see how much your vamp really loves you" Angelo says rolling me around. The pain in my stomach so excruciating.
"Why" I manage to get out.
"Have him ask his people" he says before stabbing me in the heart. Trying to gasp for breathe I hear my name yelled in the distance a few seconds later Lucas comes into view.
"Rae what happened who did this" he says dropping to his knees next to me. I try to get out the words but I can't seem to get my lips moving. The pain begans to become unbearable.
"No don't leave me please I love you, you can't leave me. Our baby needs you I need you" he says with both his hands grabbing my face kissing me before he removes one lowering it to my stomach. I watch as his face morphs bringing his hand now covered in blood from my stomach.
"I'm sorry" I gasp out taking my last breathe and everything fades away. Dropping the blade I start gasping for air.
"Raven what's the matter" Lucas says only his voice sounds distant. I try to answer but everything goes black as I drop to the floor.
