Not Expected That (Namjoon story)

Giving it a shot with Jongkook

It's been about 5 months since me and Namjoon had that talk at his place. Me and his girlfriend are cordial towards each other. If she needs help with something relating to Namjoon she comes ask me. We've hung out by ourselves a few times.

In the mean time, I've gotten close to Jongkook and the rest of the members. I've been spending a lot of time with Jessi as well. Right now, Jongkook was over to hang out with me and the guys. I hand Namjoon the food I've made for him, his girlfriend and his family.

"Thanks again for the food." Namjoon tells me with a smile.

"Don't worry. It's the least I could do for not being able to meet them yesterday." I said, smiling.

"They understood why." He said.

"I know but still." I said.

"Hyung, the car is here." Jimin tells him.

"You remember what to do right?" I asked.

He nods at that before hugging us all goodbye. Just as he was leaving, Jongkook arrived. We ate dinner and had small talk. While Taehyung and J-Hope washed dishes, Jin and Suga went to get some alcohol. Me, Jungkook, Jimin and Jongkook all went to the living room.

"So what do you guys want to do?" I asked.

"We could watch some movies and then play some games." Jungkook suggested which we agreed to.

"Let's wait for the other four to decide on the movies and games." I said.

Nodding, they smiled at me. Jungkook and Jimin included Jongkook into their conversation. Soon J-Hope and Taehyung joined us. As they joined the conversation, I grabbed Jongkook's hand and started playing with it. Soon Jin and Suga arrived. Jimin told them the plan.

We all agreed to it. Jungkook and Taehyung picked the movies. Throughout the entire time, I held onto Jongkook. He didn't seem to mind and held me close. After watching three movies, we decided to play some games now.

"So what games do you guys want to play?" I asked.

"Truth or Dare and then Never Have I Ever?" Taehyung asked.

We all nodded at that. Taehyung gave us his boxy grin when he saw that we all agreed to it. While Jimin and Suga went to get the alcohol and shot glasses, the rest of us sat in a circle. Just then, Namjoon and his girlfriend arrived. They greeted us with a smile.

"We're going to play Truth or Dare and then Never Have I Ever." Taehyung tells them.

"Do you guys want to join us?" I asked.

They both nodded. Getting up, I tell Namjoon's girlfriend that I have some clothes she could borrow. Smiling gratefully, she follows me into my room and waited while I looked for something. I managed to find some sweat pants and a t-shirt. Handing it to her, I told her she could use the bathroom.

Thanking me, she smiled. She asked if she could use my things to take off her makeup. Nodding, I tell her to use whatever she needed. She smiled and thanked me again before going into my bathroom. While I waited, I went on my phone. I see that I got a text message from Namjoon. I opened it.

Text conversation

Namjoon: Thank you for being kind to her.

Me: of course. I want her to feel comfortable.

Namjoon: I know that's why I'm grateful.

Me: don't mention it. I'm glad to help.

After our conversation, she came out. We went to put her things into Namjoon's room. Soon after we went back downstairs. I sit back next to Jongkook. Jiwoo sat next to me while he sat next to her. Jimin explained the rules. For Truth or Dare, take a shot for a truth you don't want to answer and two shots for a dare you don't want to do.
