Set against the backdrop of Hastinapura torn by rivalries and ambit...
AFTER FIVE-YEARS KANYAKUL In the halls of Kanyakul, as dusk painted the sky with hues of orange and pink, Subhadra, a mere twelve-year-old, sat cross-legged,her fingers dancing gracefully on the polished wooden surface of her flute. The soft glow of oil lamps cast gentle shadows around her as she poured her heart into each note, her delicate fingers coaxing out melodies that seemed to float effortlessly through the air.
Around her, the elders of Kanyakul, gathered in rapt attention, their eyes fixed on the young prodigy. With each note that danced from Subhadra's flute, a sense of awe and wonder filled the room, as if the very essence of music had come alive in her touch.
As the final melodies of her performance faded into the evening air, a hushed silence fell over the room, broken only by the soft sighs of those who had been spellbound by her talent. Guruma, her face alight with admiration, rose from her seat and approached Subhadra.
"Putri Subhadra," Guruma began, her voice filled with pride, "you are truly the brightest star in Kanyakul's sky. Your music has touched our hearts and lifted our spirits."
Flushed with gratitude, Subhadra bowed her head in acknowledgment, her eyes shining with the recognition of her mentor's praise.
Just then amidst the whispers of admiration, Dushala and Vrinda sidled up to her. "Well done, Sakhi!" Dushala exclaimed, her eyes twinkling with pride and admiration. "You play the flute beautifully."
Vrinda, unable to resist a jest, chimed in, "Of course she does, after all, she's our friend!"
With a playful swat on Vrinda's head, Dushala teased, "Oh, you want credit for her talent too?"
Amidst the laughter and camaraderie, Guruma intervened, her voice cutting through the playful banter. "Tomorrow," she announced, her eyes gleaming with excitement, "we shall journey to the gurukul for a visit. Prepare yourselves as it shall be a day of learning and discovery."
Eager with anticipation, Dushala's eyes sparkled with excitement as she exclaimed, "I can't wait to see my brothers again!"
Subhadra nodded in agreement, adding with a chuckle, "And Bhrata Shaurya is there too."
Vrinda rolled her eyes with mock exasperation, muttering, "That stinky, lazy boy." But her lips curved into a smile, betraying her fondness for him.
With hearts full of anticipation, the trio bid farewell to the gathering and made their way to their quarters, their laughter echoing through the halls of Kanyakul. As they set about their task of packing, the promise of adventure and camaraderie filled the air, setting the stage for the next chapter of their journey.
GURUKUL Guru Dronacharya stood tall among his students, his voice commanding attention as he addressed the gathering.
"Tomorrow," he announced, his tone firm yet filled with anticipation, "the students of Kanyakul shall grace our humble abode for a visit. It is our duty to ensure their comfort and hospitality during their stay. Begin making arrangements immediately, and ensure that every need of our esteemed guests is met without fail."
Shaurya, his face alight with excitement, whispered to himself, "Subhadra must be coming too."
As the students began to disperse to carry out their assigned tasks, Guru Dronacharya halted Arjun with a gentle hand. "Arjun," he said, his eyes holding a solemn gaze, "I have a special task for you."
Arjun, ever dutiful, replied, "Gurudev, please command and I shall obey."

With a nod, Dronacharya revealed his trust in Arjun's capabilities. "You are one of the finest students this Gurukul has ever nurtured. I entrust upon you the responsibility of personally attending to the requirements of Kanyakul's best student."
Arjun replied, dutifully, "As you order Gurudev"
Dronacharya said, "I trust upon you that Princess of Dwarka won't face any problem under your supervision."
As Guru Dronacharya departed, leaving Arjun to contemplate his newfound responsibility, Arjun's mind raced with questions. "Who are you, and why do I feel a strange connection to you? I must meet you."
Lost in his thoughts, Arjun whispered the name once more, his heart filled with an inexplicable longing. "Subhadra"
KANYAKUL In the quiet confines of her room at Kanyakul, Subhadra meticulously folded her clothes and packed her belongings in preparation for the upcoming visit to the gurukul. As she worked, a sudden sensation washed over her, like a gentle tug at her heartstrings, pulling her attention away from her task.
Pausing in her movements, Subhadra furrowed her brow, a sense of unease settling within her. It was as though an invisible force was calling out to her, stirring something deep within her soul.
Turning towards the window, Subhadra's gaze instinctively sought out the comforting glow of the moon, its silvery light casting a soft radiance over the landscape. In that moment, a wave of confusion as well as happiness washed over her, mingling with the inexplicable pull she felt.
"Why do I feel like someone is calling me?" she wondered aloud, her voice barely above a whisper. "Someone close to me... But who? And why now?"
As she stared out into the night, searching for answers in the depths of the moonlit sky, Subhadra couldn't shake the feeling that something extraordinary was unfolding within her, something beyond her understanding. With a sigh, she resolved to confront the mysteries stirring within her heart, determined to uncover the truth behind the strange sensation that had enveloped her. •~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~• TO BE CONTINUED...
