shadow adventure 2 part one

[At the Level 7 security door, an access panel lights up and the door opens. Eggman steps
through, then walks to a terminal with a small holograph of Shadow on it.]
Eggman: Oh-ho! So this is the military's top-secret weapon. It's a lot smaller than I expected.
Hmm, "enter user data"... ah, enter a password. Password is: 'MA-RI-A'. Maria! Now all I have to
do is to place the Chaos Emerald into this console.
[He places the Emerald in it, and jumps past it, down to a lower level. A large mechanical pillar
rises.]
Eggman: Oh-ho!!
[Shadow rises out of the top of the pillar, and gazes down at Eggman.]
Eggman: What's that?
Shadow: My name is Shadow. Since you were so kind to release me, my master...I will grant you one wish.
[An alarm starts blaring.]
Eggman: Now what?!
[Shadow levitates off of the pillar using his Air Shoes.]
Shadow: Behold the true power possess.
[He flies straight upward and punched it so hard that it was destroyed immediately. Millions of
pieces are scattered all over the place.]
Dr. Eggman:[inpressed] Excellent! Now that was impressive.
[Shadow walked to a smaller pod, entered the password, put the same chaos emerald. The pod opened and inside was a baby hedgehog. His quills are down, his fur is blue with peach arms and chest. Shadow carefully picked him and held him in his arms.]
Dr. Eggman: [surprised] A baby hedgehog!
Shadow:[turns to eggman] He's my son. Professor Gerold made him for me to love and care for him. His name is sonic.
Dr.Eggman: I see. Now about that wish, you were talking about how are you going to do that.
Shadow: I'll explain when we get to the space colony ark.

The space colony ark.

[shadow walks while holding sonic to the old nursery. He walks in and rocked in the rocking chair. He's trying to get sonic to sleep but sonic was fighting the sleepiness. As much it hurts him, he starts singing the lullaby Maria used to sing to him.]

Shadow: La la lu

Oh my little star sweeper
I'll sweep the stardust for you.

Little soft, fluffy sleeper
Here comes a pink cloud for you.

[Sonic yawned and fell asleep. Shadow got up and gently place sonic in the crib]
Shadow: Have a good nap, my son. You are my everything and I will protect you with my life.
[Shadow turned off the lights and went out to find chaos emeralds]
Entering Rouge
[In the desert, Knuckles and Rouge are arguing by Master Emerald.]
Rouge: Just... let it go! You just don't know when to give up, do you?
Knuckles: What're you talkin' about, that Emerald's mine! Did you get that? Master Emerald contains special powers that neutralize the energy of the Chaos Emeralds; that makes it very powerful -- What the?
[Eggman flies down and uses a crane attached under his machine to grab Master Emerald, and pull it up.]
Rouge: Wha -- thief!!
Knuckles: Look who's calling who a thief.
Eggman: I came here following the signal from the Emerald. If I'm not mistaken, this is Master
Emerald, is it not?
Knuckles: It's you... Doctor Eggman...
Rouge: So that's Doctor Eggman.
Eggman: Well, I guess I can use it for something. I'll just take it with me. Farewell, Knucklehead.
Knuckles: Not if I can help it!
[Knuckles jumps up to Master Emerald and punches it, shattering it into dozens of shards.]
Rouge: Aaaaaaaaaah!!
[Rouge pauses for a moment, in a daze, then starts strangling Knuckles.]
Rouge: What was that all about?! And look what you did to my Emerald!
Knuckles: I did that to prevent it from being stolen, you idiot! If it's in pieces, I can restore it. And by the way, that's not YOUR Emerald.
Eggman: [Scratching his head] Hmm... doesn't matter. I'll look into it once I get back to the base.
[floats off]
Rouge: I despise anyone who takes jewels from me. All the world's gems are mine to keep!
Knuckles: Yeah, well we'll see about that, batgirl!
[Knuckles ran after the bat but only ended up in the city where he lost her. A Big Foot robot comes in. Knuckles got into a fighting stance.]
Knuckles: I don't have time for this. Let's go tin can.
[Imagine how the fight went.]
Knuckles: [Looks up] What?
[A black-colored hedgehog is seen on top of the defeated Big Foot holding a Chaos Emerald.]
Shadow: [Holding up the Chaos Emerald] It all starts with this...A jewel containing the ultimate power...
Knuckles: [Surprised] That's the... Chaos Emerald! [Walking toward Shadow] Now I know what's going on! So...where do you think you're going with that Emerald!? [Starts running toward
Shadow] Say something! You hedgehog!
Shadow: Chaos Control! [Activates Chaos Control and quickly warps past knuckles]
Knuckles: [Surprised] Wow...he's fast! Hey, it's not his speed. He must be using the Chaos Emerald to warp!
Shadow: [On top of a building] My name is Shadow. I'm the world's ultimate life form! There's no
time for games...farewell. [Uses Chaos Control to warp away]
Knuckles : [Blinded from the light] Kuu! Shadow...what is he? What could he be doing with the emeralds? Whatever it is it cant be good. I'll need to stop him but I can't do it alone, I'm going to need some help.
[Knuckles runs off]
Hidden Base again!
[Eggman enters into a room with a warp device that leads to the ARK.]
Eggman: With the Chaos Emeralds... in the Space Colony ARK. Hmm... I've got to find out just what's going on up there.
[Eggman pushes a few buttons on the terminal, starting up a live news report.]
Reporter (English): We interrupt this broadcast for an important news flash. There has been a break-in at the federal-reserve bank today. Mysteriously, the only thing that was stolen was--
Eggman: --The Chaos Emerald?!--
Reporter (English): the Chaos Emerald. According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the suspect was identified as the world-renowned hero, Sonic the Hedgehog. The suspect was seen fleeing the scene, destroying the reserve's guard robots in his path. Stay tuned for more details.
Eggman: Sounds more like the work of Shadow!
[Shadow stands on a high suspension bridge, overlooking the swarming police units below.]
Shadow: Hmph, how pathetic.
[Shadow begins to have a flashback of the ARK fifty years ago.]
G.U.N. Soldier: Find them before they escape!
[Shadowwhile holding sonic furm in one hand and Maria's hand in the other runs through the halls of the ARK, both panting heavily from exhaustion and panic. Maria is about to die in the
Research Facility and leans onto a computer terminal for support in standing.]
Shadow: MARIA!!
[A capsule closes down over Shadow.]
Shadow: What?!
Maria: Shadow... I beg of you... please,
Shadow: Maria...!
Sonic:[crying] Ma..ma...Marwa
Shadow: [wispering] His first word
Sonic: Marwa...Marwa
Maria:[smiled] I'm honored to be your first word sonic. Grow up to be a happy and healthy hedgehog. [turns to shadow] Take care of him like the father I know you can be.
Shadow:[looks at sonic then to maria with tears in his eyes.] I will.
Maria: Do it for me... for all the people... on that planet... Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog.
[Shadow is ejected from the colony; the flashback ends.]
Shadow: Maria... I still remember what I promised you... For all the people of this planet... I promise you... REVENGE!
Infiltrate Hidden Base
[Rouge enters the room where Eggman heard the news report.]
Rouge: *gasp* It's a space transporter! The destination has been set to... ARK?! Wasn't that space colony shut down, over fifty years ago? What's he doing up there, anyway? Doesn't matter. It's my mission to find out what he's up to!
[She twirls onto the transporter, and it begins to activate.]
Gathering of the Dark
[Eggman walks into the control room for the Eclipse Cannon. Shadow was there feeding sonic a baby bottle of milk.]
Shadow: I've been waiting for you, Doctor. Now, I will show the glorious achievement of what the
world's leading scientist - Professor Gerald has created.
Eggman: is the hogglet going to be with us all of the time?
Shadow:[hold sonic closer to him while still feeding him][growls] Why? Is there a problem with that?
Eggman:[Startled by the growl] No, no, no problem at all
Shadow:[glares at eggman]
[The device behind Shadow boots up.]
Shadow: The ARK was the first space colony created by mankind. Not many people know that the ARK contained a top-secret research facility, where weapons of mass destruction were being created. This is one of them; a weapon capable of destroying an entire planet.
Codenamed: "The Eclipse Cannon".
Eggman: Destroying an entire planet...? Was this my grandfather's legacy?
Shadow: But, it's been deactivated for some time now...
[He tosses the Chaos Emerald he's holding onto the panel behind him, and as it rests in its indent, its energy pulses through the mechanism.]
Shadow: To reactivate it... large amounts of energy are necessary.
Eggman: Oh, so that's why we needed the Chaos Emerald.
Shadow: Exactly. To reactivate the machine, we need the seven Chaos Emeralds. Once you have that, then you have the ultimate power of destruction, to use as you please. And then... the world could be yours.
Eggman: Hahahahahaha!! Sounds like a plan! I like the way you think, Shadow! I will get the Chaos Emeralds, use the machine to dominate the world, and build a legacy of my own!
Rouge: Do you think it will be that easy?
[Eggman, Shadow, and sonic(who were done with his bottle) look up to see Rouge hanging
from the ceiling. She drops and glides down.]
Rouge: I've got a great idea! How about making a deal?
Eggman: A... deal?
Rouge: When you grabbed that huge Emerald, you said something about a reaction; a reaction that it may have with Master Emerald. Now, if you could just let me borrow that radar, I may be able to help you. What do you think?
Eggman: If I do... what's in it for me?
Rouge: I have an idea where the other Chaos Emeralds may be. I may not look like it, but do you know that I am a treasure hunter that specializes in all kinds of jewels?
[She pulls out a Chaos Emerald. Eggman pauses, not quite knowing what to do, then he looks at Shadow. Shadow nods in agreement with Rouge's terms, and Eggman turns back to her.]
Eggman: Very well.
Rouge: Okay then, it's a deal. I don't think we've been introduced. I'm Rouge the Bat. But, you
can call me Rouge.
Shadow: It shadow. Shadow the hedgehog.
Sonic:[ tilts his head curiously] goo
Rouge:[sees sonic] Aww he's adorable. Who is this little guy?
Shadow:[hugs sonic closer] He's my son, sonic.
Rouge: Well he's adorable. Hey, there little sonic. My name is rouge.
Sonic: Aba Aba bo
Rouge: aww
Shadow:[rolls his eyes]
Eggman: Okay were getting off topic. Now why dont we look for chaos emeralds.
Shadow and rouge: [nods]
[they walk out of the room to find chaos emeralds.]
