The rest of the day I have a feeling Maddy was avoiding me. I also had a bad feeling something big was going to happen and it wasn't going to be good.

After music I ran up to Maddy but she was talking to a kid with wicked cool hair. The colour was dark blue, black, purple, and a hint of white. I waited but I lost my patients and just said, "Madyy are you free tomorrow night?" "Yeah but we have to stay around my house because my brother is having a sleepover at a friend's house and I have to be home in case he comes home early." She said with a smile. I smiled back because she's so careful with her brother and if a an asshole comes up to her and kicks her Maddy will totally cut of his dick and shove it done his throat. "Looks like bad boy got a soft spot." The kid with the wicked cool hair said. I gave him a death glare. Thankfully Maddy didn't see the death glare. "Michael!" She said hitting him upside the head.

I walked Maddy home then ran inside to set up our date tomorrow night. I came down the stairs and my mum was running out the front door. I grabbed my flip-flops and ran to see, Maddy on my front lawn crying. I ran right next to where she was. I asked so many questions, "Are you okay? Are you hurt? What's wrong? What happened?" All I got was, "Justin's dead! Justin's dead! Justin's dead! Justin's dead!" That's the only thing she was saying. "Hey mum just go back inside and I will comfort Maddy." I said pointing to the door. She nodded her head and walked away. Then I picked her up placed her on my lap and hugged her I was afraid she was going to push away but she hugged back.

I can't imagine how much shit emotions she's having. No parents, no brother, living alone at 16. We just hugged each other until we got interrupted but she didn't stop hugging me and crying, but she got off my lap.

"Maddy this is all my fault..." Michael started but Maddy cut him off and looked up at him and said, "Michael it's not your fault. It's no one's fault. Well besides the asshole who stabbed him." She let him join the group hug. I was kind of jealous that Maddy and Michael were so close.

After the group hug Maddy said, "I'm going to go clean out his room you guys can join." While whipping away the tears from her check. "Yes." Me and Michael said at the same time. We cleaned out everything.
