Two days.

That's how long I have to sit back and observe Natasha from afar, plotting my attack.  I watch her daily activities, which entirely consist of laying low in some run-down trailer. I, unfortunately, have to hide in the woods in order to be unnoticeable but still able to see her.

I ended up deciding to not attack her in her trailer because it would be too private.  If I attack her in a semi-public place, she will not be able to counter my attack to the full extent of her abilities because of the risk of blowing her cover.  I tapped into her phone conversation with the man who hooked her up with the trailer to understand that she's got nowhere else to go if she blows her cover here.

However, as the sun sets on the second day of watching her, she sets out for town.  I follow her on my motorcycle, never coming within view of her as I rely on the sound of her car and the tracker I placed on it to follow her.

As she arrives in town, she heads for a small parking garage - it is just one story of underground parking, the lighting extremely dim.  All that it takes is one look around the parking garage to affirm to myself that this is the perfect place to attack.

I decide to wait until after she has finished doing whatever she has come into town to do so that her guard will be lower.  So, I spend the next thirty minutes trailing Natasha through the extremely small Norse town. I watch as she stops in a grocery store and her bright, calculating eyes scan all the produce. I watch as she casually walks down the street, nobody nearby even suspecting that a wanted murderer is walking past them.

But when she refills a tank of gas at the gas station, I can't help but find myself admiring her toned arms showing off her muscles as she lifts the gas tank-  shit, Vallonia, get your head out of ass.  I can't start checking out my target.

She begins to turn in my direction, and I quickly duck out of the way, realizing that I let my staring look slightly suspicious there. I wasn't even trying to stay out of her view; I thought I could just blend in.  Most people wouldn't even question a stranger staring at them for a second longer than they should, but I know that'll raise a red flag in Natasha's mind.

Mentally cursing myself, I quickly walk in the opposite direction of the parking garage as to not give Natasha any clues that I'm going that way, and I take the long way back to the parking garage.

As I arrive in the parking garage, I stake out a good hiding spot. The entrance to the parking garage is exactly in the middle of the two halves of parking, a row of parking against each wall. I want to be towards but not quite in the middle (and most definitely not in the half that Natasha is parked in). A large van in the exact location I want plus on the same wall as Natasha's car catches my eye.  Bingo. I make my way over to it before kneeling beside it.

And then I wait.

After less than 10 minutes, I hear Natasha's footsteps - I know they're hers because Dreykov trained me on recognizing enemies' footsteps from videos.  I never thought that would be useful until now.

Natasha's footsteps begin growing slightly distant as she walks to her car, and I realize that now is my time since her back will be facing me.  I peek out from around the side of the car, take aim, and fire a single shot.

It is perfect.  It is heading straight for the back of her thigh, guaranteed to instantly incapacitate her before she realizes what hit her.  Truthfully, it is one of the best non-lethal shots I have ever taken.

However, Natasha quickly jumps to the side, disappearing from my view into the cars parked in the opposite line of cars.  Shit.  She saw it coming. Luckily, I'm still in the same row as her car - she's not. She's going to have to cross the garage at some point.
