Chapter 19

Heaven POV

"So.. like how did you find me?"

  "I was able to trace where you are  through her live video. You were yelling at her and that was how I found you"

"Th-thanks a lot and I'm sorry"

  "It's all good"

  "No, it's not. I've been bitchy to you. I know that I don't deserve..."

  "No worries. I have forgiven you and so has your dad."

  "Really!!"

"Yeah." She smiled and silence reigned till we got to the house.

On getting home,I found my dad talking to Mr Curlin..ohhh gosh,he must have seen the live video...this is not good.

"Hey Heaven" he waved and I gently nodded.

"Mr Curlin came over to meet you,I'll excuse you" my dad stated.

  "Ummm..good evening,Sir" I bowed slightly.

"Nice to meet you,Miss Mickelson"

"You can call me Heaven"

  "Such a wonderful name. Call me Kevin"

"Right!" I blushed. "So,why are you here?" I asked.

"Um..I wanted to like.. y'know..know you more,Heaven" he countered nervously licking his lips which was really cute.

"So,in a word what do you mean?" I teased.

"I like you,Heaven" he hit the nail straight on the head. Okay,I wasn't expecting that... hello...it's i...the bitchy girl.
"Are you okay? You kinda zoned out" he waved.

"I.. I have to turn down the offer.. like,you don't know me. I'm that annoying brat you really wouldn't want to associate yourself with."

"Yes,I want to. I liked you right from that day I came to your house and I also visited your house once again to find you and your stepmom in a heated argument. You were obviously in a bad mood so I had to leave. I came everyday and was even present at the hospital too."

He knows about you. "That means you know how I tried to murder my stepmom" I said sadly.

"Yeah,that was definitely wrong,I have to admit"

"I know. I'm a bad person. I fucking hate myself now"

"Shhh" he placed a finger on my lips. "I know how you feel. I also hated my stepmom once before but now we are best of friends,no kidding"

"At least you didn't try to murder her" I replied.

"Who told you so? I attempted it..twice." he declared and my eyes widened. "However,that wasn't a cool move and I don't want anyone to repeat that mistake. Not all stepmoms are mean,slutty or evil."

"Is that why you took interest in me?"

"No,not at all. It might sound crazy but I was amused by the way you cussed.. I just don't know how to explain but that made me notice how adorable you are when you smile. I couldn't help but wink at you the first day we met". I smiled widely. "So,are you going to like.. y'know give a chance to prove myself"

"Yeah,of course. I'm glad that someone finally accepts me for who I am"

"Hey! I accept you for who you are" my stepmom stated as she along with my dad entered the living room.

I stood up and walked closer to my dad. "Dad,I know that have wronged you and acted stupid. Defying your orders and doing things how it pleases me.
I judged wrongly and acted in a haste. I hope you can forgive me dad,I'm really sorry" I wept.

"Ohhh common, y'know that I can't stay mad at you for a long time. I forgive you darling and I love you" he declared and I quickly hugged him before moving over to Cassie.

"Cassie,I'm damn sorry..oops..I cussed. I know that I have wronged you a lot,I do hope you can forgive me"I blinked repeatedly with a pout.

"Gosh,how can I ignore an adorable Heaven. I'm also sorry,I'm fucking sorry for everything I've said"

"You cussed" my dad countered and we all laughed.

"Starting from now,I'm going to be the perfect daughter that you guys always wanted. I love you Dad" I smiled and my dad face broke into a smile. And I said the words I never thought I would have ever said "And I love you stepmom"

"I..I love you, darling" Cassie cried and I hugged her tightly.

"But there is something that still have to be done. The live video has definitely caused a lot of havoc and might ruin your reputations"

"My brother is a computer genius,he can bring down the video." Kevin stated.

"Thanks but I have to go to school tomorrow. I have skipped school for long..ahh.. it's going to be a long day"I sighed.

"I know that they are going to bug you but if you can endure till closing hours, I have a plan that will leave their mouth wide open"

"I'm going to trust you Cassie" I smiled for the umpteenth time.

"Why don't I cook dinner?"

"And I will help?" I volunteered.

  "You don't have to. Why don't you keep Mr Curlin's company"

"I have to take my leave, just dropped by to say 'hello' "

"I'll see you to the gate" I offered.

  "I'll see you also" my dad added.

  "Awww common...let Heaven see him to the gate... y'know" she winked but that just didn't get the message.

"I got some things to discuss with him"

  "You can say all that when next you meet him...why don't you help me with dinner"

"Buhhh..." My dad to protest but Cassie held him by the arm and pulled him into the kitchen while I got out of the living room with Kevin. Geez,we look like a couple at the moment.

"You've zoned out again" he noticed.

"Just thinking about how I'm going to survive tomorrow's school"

"You will because you are far stronger than you look"

"Thanks for the heads-up...it will definitely have a long way to go"

  "When you are almost giving in to their taunts,just think about your dad, stepmom and me"

"That reminds me.. I haven't gotten your number" I gasped.

"Oh! Your dad gave me yours earlier on"

"Ummm..I guess that's your drive"

"That's correct"

"So,that means.. goodbye" I bit my lip as I spat them out.

"Right! Goodbye"

"Yeah" I nodded and turned back home. However,I had this feeling ..the feeling that something I longed for is missing.

"Heaven!" He called and I turned back almost immediately to see him walk close to him.

"Sweet dreams" he whispered into my ears and kissed me so close to the mouth. I gasped as his lips made contact with my cheek.
All I could do was smile which he returned back but not without adding a wink.
