The rest of the day seemed to happen all to fast and when River and I got off the bus near home, he said he had to go straight home and left.
Being home alone with nothing to do lead me to decide to wander the forest behind the house.
I never thought I'd come to love this place, but with each day, it feels more and more like home.
Lost in thought, memorized by the beauty of the forest surrounding me, I failed to realize how much time had passed.
Luckily my boots made prints in the mud, so if I had lost my way I could easily retrace my steps.
When I got home, mom was upset, and had me bathe then sent me to bed early. I don't mind because I will see River in my dream.
Sorry its been awhile, but here you go!
