After fifteen yawns, several stretching and drowsy eyes, the chemistry class finally ended. The next two classes was also long which by the way, was actually fair.

"Today was going just great," I thought.

I brought out my phone to check for any new message. I opened the only one I saw which was from my mum. She was informing me she was going to be late than the usual time. I typed my response as I made my way to the cafeteria.

As I was scrolling through my phone waiting for Liv at our usual sit, i felt a presence behind me. I looked up only to discover it was Daniel, the football captain.

"What?" I hissed out.

"Stop being a bitch, it's only a friendly visit," He replied.

If only that's true.

There's nothing friendly about Daniel and I have always done my best to avoid him not only because he was a player but because of his ex girlfriend, Lia who has done nothing but mark her territory. For what? I don't know. Their relationship was so confusing.

"What's the deal?" I asked just to hear what he wanted.

"I just wanted to ask if  you were attending the party at Ethan's house. Apparently his brother is on break and some of his college friends are attending too"

I rolled my eyes. Like that would make me go "Hard pass".

"Really bliss? It's going to be fun," He pleaded.

"Stop your whiny big baby. I'm not going, you have a problem with that?"

"Whatever and by the way, your b00bs look good in that top," he stated with a sly smile on his face.

Typical Daniel. Only him can change a normal conversation into flirting.

Shortly after Daniel left, i stood up to get our foods since liv was taking long. I placed hers and mine on the table and sat. As I was eating, liv arrived.

"Where were you?" I asked.

"In the toilet. Sorry I kept you waiting and how was your classes?" She asked as she sat in the space beside me.

"Don't ask me," I grumbled out

"Sorry" she let out while laughing "and thank you for the food" she added.

I smiled at her in response.

After several minutes of Liv and I eating in silence, she asked. "Did you hear about the party at Ethan's?"

"Yes, why?"

"Jake invited me to go along with him and I was wondering if you would like to go with me. I'm so excited and at the same time nervous," She whispered.

"You got this girl! You're going to do just fine. I know you don't want me following you guys as a third wheel"

"Stop this bliss, you are going as my friend. I really need you."

"I don't want to go" because going means seeing Ethan.

"Why?"

"You know why"

"No I don't, i'm all ears"

"Ethan" I said as a matter of factly.

"It's his party, so.."
