YEONI POV

I flinched at his deep voice.

Yeoni: you...

I managed to say out slowly. 

Mark: me...

He said to himself. He slowly nodded and went back to his seat. I looked at him to see what he does next.

Mark: Out.

Yeoni: What?

I said like an idiot cause I did not hear it right.

Mark: I said to get out!

He said in a demanding voice making me leave the room immediately without thinking twice.

-1 MONTH LATER-

                   
I sat down on my couch with a sigh... Jisung was at a party or something, so I was alone at home today.

I took off my heels with a groan and sat comfortably. But then I heard a knock on the door making me get up. I opened the door and a nervous Jeno stood right in front of me. 

Yeoni: What's wrong Jeno?

Jeno: Can... Can I talk to you?

Yeoni: Sure come in.

I said opening the door wide for him to come in. 

He came in and sat down while tapping his leg at a very fast pace and very nervously at that. 

I sat down next to him with a worried expression. 

Yeoni: is everything alright? 

He looked at me for a second then his gaze went back to his feet.

Jeno: Yeoni... I feel like... I feel like this relationship is... i don't think its going to work between us anymore.

-A DAY LATER-

I woke up on my cozy bed and stretched with a smile... the weekend had passed and Jeno and I were still on good terms after what had happened. Well... I was probably the slightest bit happy.

I smiled and went on to do my morning routine.

In the office I unknowingly hummed to myself as I set the files for today and organized my desk. The entire Lee family will be visiting the office today as they had some papers to sign. I knew Mr. Lee had 4 sons but I only knew Mark and Taeyong.

Well I knew Taeyong even before I got to know Mark and we are very close... he is like an elder brother to me.

The sudden memories made my have a bitter-sweet smile.

-FLASHBACK - 5years back-

I sighed as I stretched out the tiredness from all my muscles. School had just ended and I was making my way to the convenience store that I work part time in. 

After getting in i directly went to the staff room, putting the vest on. On coming out i saw the other employee with his head down on the counter. Sighing, i smacked my hands against the table causing him to flinch and sit up.

Johnny: Gosh, stop scaring me you witch.

I chuckled and he went to remove his vest. 

Johnny: I threw all the expired stuff and arranged everything, check if you want.

He said as he came out.

Yeoni: Its alright i trust you.

Johnny: Sure you do.

He rolled his eyes and slung his bag over his shoulder.

Johnny: I am off.

Yeoni: Bye Johnny.

He waved his hand and left.

I arranged the shelves and organized the stuff he obviously messed up. He knew I did not trust him with this very well.

I chuckled as I finished up and sat on the chair waiting for customers.

-A LITTLE LATER-

It was late night now... customers came and went and my day was boring. Right now it was almost midnight but my shift is till the morning. So to pass time, I took out my books and started doing my homework. i was still in the last year of highschool with loads of homework... besides there will a lesser number of customers now, so i could work in peace.

I yawned and looked at the door to see that someone entered. He came in and stood in front of the racks staring at the food in front of him.

My eyebrows furrowed and looked at him. Why was he just staring and not buying anything? Was he going to steal?

I went behind him but he just stared at the food and did not even notice me. 

Yeoni: Are you going to buy that? Or not?

He flinched and turned making his hood fall down. He had a handsome face with very sharp jawline and boba looking eyes. He was definitely older than me.

???: I uh...

Yeoni: Are you hungry?

???: No-

His stomach growled tinting his cheeks pink and I chuckled. 

Yeoni: Just buy something then. 

???: I don't have money... 

Yeoni: How about i pay then? 

???: What no! i don't want to trouble you-

Yeoni: Aye... You can pay me back later.

i chuckled and took the ramen and paid for two. One for myself as well. I heated both of them and placed it on the long table that was against the huge glass window of the shop.

Yeoni: Sit down. Let's eat, even i am hungry.

He sat down hesitantly. But then he took the chopsticks and started eating wholeheartedly making me smile at the sight.

Yeoni: What's your name?
