JAEMIN POV

I sat up in my bed with a jerk. i groaned and looked around the dark room. Lucas's snores filled the room. i looked over and saw him sleeping soundly on his bed across from me. 

i yawned and fell back on the soft mattress wanting to go back to sleep.

but after 30 minutes of tossing around i figured i won't be able to sleep. I got up and made my way to the jug and glass on the shelf that was by the window. I drank a glass of water while looking out into the chilly night. Then i glanced at the time and saw that it was 10 past 12. 

I looked back outside and noticed a figure walking in the streets. I choked on my water when i realized who it was. I put the glass down and quickly slipped on my hoodie before leaving the hotel room silently.

JENO POV

I walked through the streets in silence. I had no idea dad would take such a step to separate hyung and Yeoni. 

I sighed and stuck my hands in the jacket pockets. 

???: Jeno.

The sweet voice rung in my ears. I turned around and met with those soft eyes. He wore a blue hoodie along with his sweat pants. His hair was messy in a cute way as if he just ran here from his bed. But considering the fact that it was past 12 it did make sense. 

Jeno: Jaemin.

Jaemin: isn't it late. Where are you going?

Jeno: Just... thinking about Mark and Yeoni.

Jaemin: What happened to them?

He asked with a cute frown. I refrained myself from chuckling. 

Jeno: Let's sit there. I will explain everything. 

I pointed at a bench. After seating ourselves i told everything about them. Then i turned to look at Jaemin who seemed to be digesting the information. 

I took the time to observe him. He changed his black hair color to white making his look come out softer than ever. He looked like an angel. 

But then my mind drifted to the time exactly 3 years back. We sat like this on a bench. I told him i liked him. He pecked me on the lips and ran away to his dorm shyly. Then the nest day i found out he left. Just like that... without a single word or reason. Gone. And then the entire Mark and Yeoni drama. 

He looked at me and met my eyes. 

Jaemin: Are you not going to ask?

Jeno: I was waiting for you to tell me first. 

We stayed like that for a while. 

Jaemin: My dad found out. 

He took a deep breath.

Jaemin: He found out that i liked you. He felt disgraced and dragged me away forcefully to LA. I finished my studies there. My dad took my phone away. Everything away. He made me cut ties with everyone. But i couldn't get the thought of you out of my mind.
