The search for purpose

And it begins

Alex and I walked into the school in search of the principals office, eventually we found it and got our schedules. Mine went math, bio, german, world history, choir, English, and then an open period. I waved goodbye to Alex and walked into math. I knocked on the door and was welcomed by the softest green eyes I have ever seen. "Uh hi" I smiled. "Hey" he said back and smiled at me, which Was gorgeous. I stood there for a minute and then looked down at my schedule. He grabbed it from my hands and told me I had managed to find the right room. "Come join me." He said. "I don't even know your name." I said seriously. "Oh its uh.. Tyler" he said sheepishly. I giggled and said "Morgin, nice to meet you" and flashed him one of my real smiles. He held the door for me as I walked in. He sat down and I walked over to the teacher. "Hi, we're so happy to have you" she said and smiled at me. "Class, this is Morgin." "Hi Morgin" a few said. I smiled at them. "Well" she said "you can sit wherever you'd like." I looked around and saw Tyler motion me over. He told me to sit between him and another girl. She was blond and pretty. I sat down and she gave me a warm smile. "I'm Desirae, but you can call me Dez." "Oh, well hi Dez." I looked over and saw Tyler smiling at me. "What?" "Nothing" he chuckled. "Whatever" I said and flipped my hair over my shoulder. His grin got even wider, "you know your cute when your irritated." I smiled a little and said shut up just as the bell rang. He glanced at my schedule and smirked. "What?" "Looks like your stuck with me next hour too" he said walking ahead of me. Turns out I had every Class with him except german. He walked me to lunch and I stood in line with him while he got food. "You sure your not hungry?" He asked. I gave him a small smile. "I'm sure."
He sat down and I sat down next to him. We were talking when a gorgeous, thin brunette came walking over. She placed a band on Tylers shoulder and kissed his cheek. She then looked over at me and gave me glare. I stood up and took a step back. "Sorry is this your seat, I'll.." "nope" Tyler said as he grabbed my wrist, pulling me back down. Whoever the girl was she stormed off angrily. I sat there feeling confused, Tyler looked at me and squeezed my shoulder. "It's fine, no worries." The rest of the day went by pretty quick and by the time 7th period rolled around Tyler and I were wandering the grounds outside. We asked each other questions, got to know each other better, and shared some laughs. His laugh was so cute.. I was NOT falling for him. I just met him! Ugh.. he pulled me out of my thoughts wen he gave me jumper cables and I jumped away squeling. I put my hands on my sides. "Don't." "Why not" he smirked and took a step closer. I ran and he ran after me, he tried ticking me and brought me to the ground squeling. "Get off Tyler!" I yelled while laughing. After a bit he got off and sat beside me smiling. "Your pretty cool ya know, i" "I know" I cut him off giggling. He shoved me playfully and smiled. "I really like you." "I really like you too" I replied. He looked at the time and helped me up. I brushed off my clothes and walked towards the doors with him. "I'll see you later" I began saying but he cut me off. "Do you wanna hang out after school on Friday, I have and car and everything." "Sure" I said knowing my mom would be happy I made a friend. He smiled one of his adorable smiles just as my mom pulled up. I went to open the car door and turned around because Tyler had tapped my shoulder, he suprised me with a hug and said "see you later Morgin." I smiled and got into the car. This school wouldn't be so bad after all.
