As I finally drifted off, I was awaken right away by cold fingers wrapped around my wrist. At first I thought it was maybe Alex, he gets nightmares sometimes. After I pulled away and it didn't let go I was frightened. "Alex your fine, go back to sleep" I said as I rolled over. I looked at him and realized his back was to me. I jumped up and looked at my wrist. There was faint finger print marks. At this point I was freaked out, beyond belief. I stood up and walked over to the window. It must have been around 4 am because the sky was starting to lighten up. It was a beautiful color, but what I saw next ruined it. I saw a reflection in the window that I can't even explain. I screamed and whipped around but when I did I hit my head on a chair that wasn't there before.

I came back to consciousness with a pounding headache. I groaned and tried to move but it hurt so I just layed there, I felt a hand on me again and sat us as fast as I could despite the pain. This time it was Alex. "Mom she's awake" he said faintly to mom. She came over to me and man did she look pale. "I...I heard you scream..and then.. u fell.. and then" but she couldn't finish, she started crying and I tool her into my arms. Mom it's ok, I'm fine, promise. I gave her a small smile showing her that I really was. At first she was satisfied but then she looked at me again and asked why u had screamed. "Oh uhm.. I saw a spider" she rolled her eyes at me and walked out to the car. I laughed a little and went out to help her. She threw her arm around my shoulder and looked up at the house. "Today's the day we move in." I looked up too trying to make the best of it but in the topmost window I saw a shadow cross. Now I know it's cliche but I really did and I knew if I told my mom She wouldn't believe me. I shook my head and told myself it was just the stress of moving in. I grabbed a box of stuff for the living room and we started moving in. Today would be the day that my life changed.
