I stopped, turned around and looked right at her.

"What's up?"
I asked, rushed as i all i wanted to do was get out of this situation.

"i think we should talk"

"i don't think that's the best idea. Leah"
I said. Honestly. As much as i want her back, us back. I don't think this is a good idea. Not now. Not right now.

"why not?"

"it's not a good time"

"Yeah, then when is a good time! We've not spoke for weeks! So, when! When's a good time!"
Leah said. Raising her voice. I sat down, at the opposite side of the changing room.

"I don't know Leah, i don't!"

"what is wrong? You're not yourself and haven't been for weeks"

"Nothing. I'm absolutely fine"

"No you're not. You're always sat alone, in the crowded room. Like, the one string that's out of tune"

"i remember when we first met. At camp"

"Yeah. I remember that too"

"i couldn't wait for camps because that's when i would see you again"

"Yeah. They were good times"

I don't know where she's going with this. I don't but i miss her. I miss her so much.

"I told you i'd love you even if you didn't love me the same way"
I smiled

"Yeah. I remember it all, like it was yesterday. What happened?"

"to us. What happened to us, Leah"

"nothing happened to us"

"So much has happened to us. It's hard now, it never used to be hard. It hurts now, it never used to hurt. We fight more than we don't, it never used to be like that"

"We're here because you went to stay with Viv and Lisa"

"No. We are here because you kept disappearing every night so i went to stay with Viv and Lisa because i got fed up of it"

"Your necklace? You don't have it on"

"We weren't talking. I took it off"
