The sound of cheering and applause takes over the church that was filled with happy tears a minute ago. It truly can be defined as one of the phenomenal moments in our life.
And I can't make myself feel prouder knowing that I played a very very crucial role in their relationship as well as their wedding. Dancing in Namjoon's arms, this day just seems to be perfect in every single way. I can't stop smiling. My cheeks hurt, but they are worth it.
"Now smile all you want to, but someday in the future this day is gonna be ours and your ass is gonna freak out then." Namjoon whispers in my ear, observing Yoongi and Hobi have the time of their lives. "You really think you can handle me for the rest of your life?" I ask.
"Nope, I don't think so. But I know so. I know for a fact that we are gonna end up together, with three kids, two boys and one girl, and a dog and we'll live in the countryside."
"Damn you turned out to be a bigger romantic than I expected. I don't know if I can but I'll definitely try and give it to you, your dream of having three kids. I'll try." I say as tears start welling up in my eyes.
"Maya I'm sorry. It's been so long since we lost our girl and I know that even if I was physically present, I wasn't of much help because I was a mess too. I should have stayed stronger throughout the time, for you, instead of being a weeping mess every now and then."
"No stop. Your presence, you being there beside me the whole time, that was what helped me come out of the dark place. And don't even think about looking down on yourself for crying. You lost your daughter too. It took a toll on you too. You have wanted a family full of love and support and we were going to have that but it just slipped away from our grasp in just a moment. I would have been angry at you if you didn't cry then. You have the right to express your feelings too. It is because you did cry and vent out, that you could actually stay beside me and help me out. No matter what you do Namjoon, just don't think that even for a moment you were lacking physically or emotionally at that moment." I complete saying as I see Namjoon's hand come up to my face, wiping the tears that escaped.
"What did I do to deserve you as the love of my life Maya Pavlov?" Namjoon breathes out.
"Well, you just got lucky I guess," I say with a wink.
"Well, now, you are going to get lucky." Namjoon says leaving me confused and excited at once.
"If it's what I'm thinking then yes, please. Oh, it's been so long."
"Is my baby getting impatient now?"
"Yes."
"Well, we can't fuck in a church though."
"Yeah, well-"
"But we can very well do other things," Namjoon says, a smirk plastered on his face.
"It's a good thing our house is a two-minute drive from here," I say
"Okay so you go tell Yoongi and Hobi that we'll be gone for a while and I'll go get the car... Now let's run."
We both rushed in two directions like our lives depended on it. I received numerous teases from Yoongi and then finally got out of the place. After so long, fuck yes.
