8. Y/N

"Y/N walk faster for gods sake!"

"Why are you scolding me? Aiko is literally walking at the back!"

"Then both of you walk faster!"

Y/N was quite moody again and it didn't pass her teammates eyes. The big question is why? Maybe it was because of certain someone who ruined her mood.

"Anyways why should I go? I mean there's no point in watching if I won't be able to play anyways."

Aiko spoke up bringing everyone's attention on her. No one understood what she meant by that and why Aiko is acting like this it's not common for her to slack off.

" What's goten into you two?"

" I'm just hungry."

Y/N raises her hand and looks at Aia with puppy eyes. It's true she was hungry and it was such a mood killer.

"Maybe if you would have eaten your lunch instead of running away suddenly maybe then you wouldn't be hungry right now."

Y/N gave up with arguing and slowly kept following the girls. Suddenly she heard talking in the distance and she looked at the side and saw people standing and talking.

Her eyes widen when she saw the same guys again. She run towards Aia and hid next to her since she was more taller than Y/N. Aia looked at Y/N confused, but in the end she let Y/N stand there.

"Oh we run into each other again. Isn't that weird?"

"Oh hey guys it's you again."

Y/N froze in her spot and lowered herself so no one could notice her. It was a stupid way to hide but her heart was going crazy every time she saw the guy. It was ridiculous at some point but what exactly could she do?

"Where are you all heading to?"

"Oh we are going to watch practice game since we have a game tomorrow."

They all chatted a bit and Y/N got slightly annoyed. They made her walk faster so they won't be late, but somehow they have time to stand and talk with guys.

"Anyways where are that one girl who keeps running away like she is scared of us?"

'Scared? Who said that?' Y/N thought to herself before standing up and stepping out of her hiding spot somehow full with confidence.

"Actually I'm not scared of anyone. And by the way..... shouldn't we go? We will be late."

Somehow her mind changed what she was going to say when she made an eye contact with the red head. It was quite intimidating because of how tall he is, making Y/N feel so tiny.

Y/N eventually fast walked away from the group and didn't even look back. It was scary to look at those big guys and how manly they all talked.

'There is no reason for you to be scared. There's no reason to run away. It's just one dude-just one..' That was all Y/N repeated in her head as she was walking in front of everyone. Just as she paid no attention to them she heard a very familiar voice and it struck her like lightning.

She stopped in her steps and turned around, just then she saw the big familiar figure, with light brown hair smiling as always. Her eyes widen as she screamed out, running towards the person.

"TEPPEI!"

She run towards the male and jumped on him, hugging him like crazy. The male just laughed and embraced the girl.

"Took you long enough dummy."

"How comes I didn't notice you until now? How are you doing?"

"I'm all fine as you see. How are you? I haven't seen you for a while now."

"I'm super duper fine."

They both laughed and Y/N jumped off of Tappei and suddenly hit him, surprising everyone even more.

"Why didn't you call or said anything?"

The male just laughed and scratched his neck nervously trying to come up with an excuse.

"Well you see me now don't you?"

"That doesn't explain anything."

Their conversation was cut off when Aia spoke up bringing everyone's attention to her.

"It was delightful to meet you guys again but we should go girls or else we will be super late."

"Oh right, well bye bye Beanstalk.. Catch you later."

Y/N waved a goodbye to Tappei and run after her teammates, her mood up again as she brightly smiled and jumped up and down.

"I told her to not call me that!"

Tappei laughed and watched as the young girl happily joined her team.

"what was that?"

"What was what?"

"You know Y/N how do you know that big guy?"

"Oh you mean Tappei? I met him in hospital when I had that trauma and we somehow became friends. He looks tall and scary but he is such a softie. When I left the hospital we haven't seen or heard from each other until now of course."

They arrived to the school and got in.. For some reason there was a lot of people, mostly students. It was pretty loud and noisy for just a practice game. They went to the hall and saw both teams at action, it was already the second set.

" Oh wow 'Jagger' are crushing the opposite team. I bet they already took the first set."

"Why so confident? You know them?"

"Well kinda not much tho... I heard their setter Hina is really strong. They said that not everyone on the team can manage to hit her sets. Until they found Sina, she is the only one really, it was quite a surprise."

"So they are like a dynamic duo or something?"

"Pretty much, Sina and Hina are just super strong, both come from wealthy families."

Y/N was concentrated on the game that was going on. She saw the amazing spikes and sets, and was just amused. It was satisfying to watch as two girls worked together like a mechanism.

" Hey Y/N are you even listening?"

" Oh yeah.. I'm all ears."

"You know we have a game against them tomorrow."

"Really?!"

Y/N was surprised, she couldn't believe they were facing such a strong team yet. But somehow it gave her energy and excitement.

"What are you so happy about? You know their going to crush us right? We stand no chance against them."

Y/N smiled and faced the court again as she saw the 'Jagger' team celebrating their victory. For a moment it looked like they weren't even near to be exhausted or tired.

Y/N expecially paid attention to Sina who walked off of the court, Y/N's blood was now full of adrenaline.

'I finally can go against someone even more stronger than me.' Y/N said in her mind and glanced at Sina again before turning around and following her team.
