What if You Actually Loved Me?

Leah and Alex were so close now.

They had been going out together as friends for months, but Leah couldn't help but want to go out as more...

Dazed, she looked at him. Lunch was almost over and she had barely taken a bite. 
His green eyes... his fluffy, colourful but brown hair... his nerdy smile... everything about him...

it reminded her of her dreams.

Her dream boy, she couldn't tell if her dream boy reminded her of ALex or if Alex reminded her of her dream boy.. she couldn't figure it out. All she could figure out was that she liked him, a lot.

But she knew she'd never confess, I mean, that'd be dumb. Right? Right...?

"Leah? Helloooo?" He smiled, laughing to himself as he waved his hand in front of her face.  

She jolted, 

Surprised she scoffed "Heh.. sorry.." Nervously, she looked back to pick at her lunch. Blushing, and took a couple more bites before the bell for 5th block rang...

As the girl picked up her still full lunch tray, Alex followed close behind her, speed-walking a couple steps to catch up before talking, his voice excited, as usual. She never got how he was so happy all the time, but she always listened anyway. 

She knew no one was ever actually happy all the time, unless something good was happening! But what could be so exciting happening to alex? I mean, she knew she was definitely had been a bit happier lately, even her grandparents had noticed.. but she couldn't figure out why.

I mean, her stomach kept feeling weird.. something she'd never felt before. She never knew what it was, and she was unsure if it felt nice or not.. some part of her liked it, so she was aware it was good.. but it still felt weird. 

{Why is it happening again..? How do I make it stop..} Leah pondered as her and Alex continued walking, dumping her full tray of food into the trash as she set the tray down on the stack of others..

"But then, it was like, a dragon came out!! I dunno. If you ever wanna watch it, I'd be happy to watch it again,,!" Alex exclaimed, his voice nervously trailing off at the end as he looked down.. Leah paused for a second,, watching a movie together..! They'd done it before the second time she went over to his house, but for some reason this time felt different.. the girl quickly made up her mind and spoke, "Oh! Sure, that'd be nice,,- uhm, my house or yours?" 

"Mine? I'll get my older sister to come pick you up at 8!"

Leah smiled and nodded as they separated. Her face feeling warm as she walked to English..

Later that night the girl laid in bed.. her makeup done, dressed in a denim jacket lined with beige fur on top of a very cropped, white tank top. Her Black skirt finishing the look, resting a few inches above her knees.. 

She held her phone, reading all the reviews for the movie..

"★★★★☆, great movie! Watched it with my girlfriend, definitely a good one for couples. ;D"

"★★★★★, watched it with my boyfriend who had to hold me the whole time since i was 'scared' yknow? great movie for us tho, luved it :))"

"★★★☆☆, watched it with my parents, VERY awkward. Saw it had good reviews, didn't notice they were all from couples-"

Leah cringed at the idea of watching it with her parents as she brough her eyes to the other reviews. She blushed as she knew it was probably weird they were just friends.. but what if they watched it as not just friends... her mind wondered as she thought of the idea of sitting on the couch with Alex holding her.. 

*HONK*

She got up, walking to her window as she pulled open the curtains and saw Alex's older sister's truck outside.
