She laughed as she put her phone into her pocket and grabbed her purse,
Rushing out the door, she smiled.
Leah opened the door to the back of Amy's truck, "Hiya!" Alex greeted her, she nodded in response as she fastened her seat belt.
"You guys strapped in?" Amy asked from the driver's seat, from what seemed so far away.
It was as if Alex and Leah were in their own world in the back seat, smiling as they looked into eachothers eyes, the girl decided to start conversation.. "What's it called again?" She asked pretending as if she hadn't just been stalking the page of the movie's reviews. Leah just wanted to hear him go in depth of the build up of the release, and how it was a huge move in movie making history-
"What?! I've been talking about it for a week straight, have you not been listening?!" He laughed, and started his movie ranting.
Leah laughed at herself, because she hadn't been listening at all. She had been looking into his eyes while he talked.. spacing out as she gazed and pretended to listen.
And she planned to do so again as he started going in depth into the critics, release, and a ton of others.. she tuned out after the release section of the rant though. As she kept gazing into his eyes...
Before she knew, five minutes had passed- and she tuned back in.
"And that's why The Inside Government of Aliens is the best movie ever." She was a bit embarrassed she hadn't gotten the hint it was Si-Fi, even though she guessed so, because that's all he talked about, she still smiles as her flushed face starts questioning him.
"Soo.. is it a Si-Fi?" He rolled his eyes, chuckling as he responded. "Obviously! It's a never been done before cross between Si-Fi and drama, and romance movie!" She tried to act calm when he said it was romance.. taking deep breaths as she reminded herself it's just a movie.
Suddenly Leah heard Amy announce from the front seat "We're here!" as she looked backwards to the two friends.
Leah nodded as she climbed out the door,,

As Alex brought over popcorn and drinks she smiled, finding it both dorky and cute that he had prepared them beforehand..
