The movie was halfway through, and Leah's face felt like it was burning as she and Alex had moved closer and closer throughout the hour of the movie so far.
Her cheeks were hot as they rested on Alex's shoulder. His hand was on her back as they both blushed... {Oh my god this can't be happening!! Eek!} Leah squealed in her head.
She didn't even care about the movie, she mostly just wanted to spend time with Alex... but the moment a scene of the aliens kissing came one, it got her attention. She glanced at Alex, whose cheeks were a fiery red. He glanced at her as well, as they both thought the same thing- But were both too nervous to say so.
As the two friends made eye contact, Leah quickly glanced away.
Then looked back, just to look away once more.
She decided to look at him again, not wanting to look away. And so she did, the two looked into each other's eyes... the aliens still kissing, as the movie got even more steamy-
Quickly, Alex went in to kiss the girl. Her eyes opened wide with surprise, doubting this was real. It felt like a movie.
As their faces went closer, Alex's hand on her back moved to her shoulder, as his other, freehand did the same.
Leah's arms loosely wrapped his neck, resting her elbows just under his shoulders.
After a few seconds that felt like an hour, they released each other's lips.
"Leah..?" Alex whispered over the movie, "I think I'm in love with you," he said hesitantly...
Leah smiles and kissed him once more, as her way of accepting his feelings, and saying it back.
