She looked so beautiful to me, so happy. She still showed me love and respect after everything the choices words, the betrayal. I'm truly one fucked up person.

"Hello Jada."

"Hey Aidden how you doing?"

"I'm great, come in make yourself at home."

"Thank you. Tyanna, how are you?"

"I'm well Jada."

"That's great, you look good. Your glowing, expecting again?"

"Actually yes, I am."

"Congratulations, you need anything?"

"Not right now, but thank you." I was gone be here every step of the way regardless of if she says no.

"Jada I wanted you to come by so I could see if I could fix a friendship between the two of you, Tyanna is that ok?"

"Uh yea, that's uh fine. Jada?"

"I'd love that."

"Can I ask where did you two go wrong?"

"Tyanna if I can, I'd like to answer that."

"Go ahead."

"We went wrong in so many ways aidden, I realize that I acted like a dick, a asshole. I took advantage of her, stressed her out til she lost one of kids. I tried to hit on her mother, I disrespected the whole family. I hurt my child, I hurt Tyanna in a way I finally realize is in no way shape of forgivable. I cheated on her while she was on the floor having a miscarriage. I kissed her mom, all to make her mad. Aidden I was stupid, the bottom line is I destroyed her when all she and her family did was help me. We went wrong time she met me, I wasn't ready for her I was still stuck in my head and childish. I understand that now, and no matter how many times I say sorry it isn't going to amount to what I've caused. Aidden, you have a beautiful lady, a great wife, and a wonderful friend. Treat her right because I failed her so many times."

"But hold on Jada, despite all that.  You was there for me as well. You stood by my side when mama was in the hospital, when I got kidnapped and lost our first child. Remember you picked me up and promised me you get me out of that mess. They was gonna continue fussing and if it wasn't for you I probably would've died if it wasn't for you. You stood up to my mom even when you were wrong when I had that seizure. Jada you was there on stuff that I have to say thank you for. It wasn't always bad between us, I'm sorry that the bad took over."

I smiled at her as she reached for my hand. She smiled back and she had this twinkle just like she had when we met before.

"You remember when aunt Doe Doe picked us up from the hospital and we was trynna protect mama cause her and dad was being grown."

"Oh yeaaah, you started crying and I started then Dorinda threaten to give us a reason to cry." We both started laughing

"Or when we had sex in your room and mama K found out chased us around the table and almost killed us."

"Chile she told me the next time I get hot hot, to take a shower Santa clause and North Pole cold."

"Damn what she trynna do give ya frost bite."

"That's what it was gone feel like."

"See despite anything, any wrong when y'all set aside y'all anger you two are the best of friends." Aidden said smiling at the both of us.

"You know he's right Jada, nine times out of ten when we met we're angry. We don't talk to each other we talk at each other, that was always our problem. Look I may sound like a fool, but I forgive you for every wrong done. Let's wipe the slate clean Jada, let's be friends.
No more drama, no more nothing. We have a child together and she don't need to grow up thinking we hate each other. So what do you say, friends?"

"Friends." I hugged her as I missed having her in my arms. It felt so good to know that we both set aside our problems with each other to be mature and put our daughter first.

"Look at y'all, and Jada I want to let you know that you're family now. I hold nothing against you, never did. I also would like to share that I wasn't trynna shift Kalani from you I just wanted to give her chance to have somebody that's on the outside to also be there for her as well. I love Kalani so much, that's my babygirl. I just want to put her in some of the best situations and not the worst. At that time you and Tyanna would've been the worst and she didn't need that."

"Thank you so much Aidden, you'll be the only other person I'd want hanging around my daughter. She loves you and I'd never take that from you or her."

"Glad we can all be grownups and talk."

"Me too."

"I got someone who would be happy to see you."

"I'd love to see them to."

"Kalani? There's someone here for you." She came down looking at me. Tap smiled grabbing my hand.

"Hey princess, I missed you."

"Jada." She hugged me tightly.

"Why did you hurt us, I love you and you let me down."

"I'm sorry, I promise that it will never and I mean never happen again. Look at me Kalani, I love you. I love you're mom, and I'm catching a liking to Aidden. I wanna be apart of your life just like they are, will you have me?" Tears clouded her eyes as they got to mines. My selfish acts affected my daughter so much. I wipe her tears holding her close to me, she meant everything to me I can't believed I'd break her heart this early. She expected so much more from me and I let her down, I swear to spend the rest of my life making it up to her as well as Tap, like aidden said, we're family.

"No more Tequila?"

"Say what?" We all laughed

"She means Talea."

"Yea Tesla."

"Lawd hamercy."

"Jada May I speak to you privately?"

"Sure Aidden." He took me into the guest room leaving Kalani with Tyanna

"Look I'm getting ready to go out of state this week, I'm planning our wedding in Hawaii. I don't want her here by herself, since it's not really safe for her to travel. If you could take care of her and my unborn child Jada, while I'm away please."

"Of course Aidden."

"Good, how bout we all go out to eat tonight, on me."

"Go get dressed before it be on you."

"Ok ok, and Aidden?"

He started laughing.

"Watch it."  We laughed as we went back out to Tyanna and Kalani, Kierra came down from her nap coming over to me.

"You TT friend?"

"Yea."

"Hi." She went over to Tap laying on her.

"Ima go home and change I'll be back."

"I'm taking y'all out to dinner tonight, so ima need for all three of y'all to go wash."

"We don't stank."

"You wanna bet you little fart machine." He picked Kierra and Kalani up going upstairs.

"It's nice to have you back around Jada."

"It's nice to have you back around as well Tyanna, I missed you."
