Tyanna

So I was suspended for two weeks and instead of being charged they had me taking anger management. Like I do need that she needs that, aunt Karen fussed at me all the way home while auntie Jacky backed me a hundred percent.

"I wanna see this video, how bad did you beat the girl." I gave her my phone as she watched

"Tyanna what in Jesus name— yea anger management is definitely needed. Go upstairs until I call for you."

"Yes ma'am." I went just as a knock came at the door....

Jada

I stood outside debating if I should've came over or not. I just didn't feel right letting her take all the blame for something I started years ago.

"Uh hi, is Tyanna home?" The door closed directly in my face.

"Jacky let that girl in."

"Fine." The door open

"Karen said you can come in, I didn't." I just nodded stepping in.

"She's up on the left."

"Thank you." I went up knocking on her door first.

"Come in." I stepped in and she laid on her stomach in bed. Nothing but some booty shorts and a bra covered her.

"Damn." My mind and body automatically forgot why I was here. She turned over looking at me.

"Why are you here?"

"To talk."

"About what?"

"I wanna apologize to you."

"Ok."

"Tap—."

"That's Tyanna to you."

"Tyanna, I'm serious. I do apologize. For everything that I caused on you."

"Alright." She rolled back over. I took a deep breath and decided to sit down.

"Uh uh, up and out."

"But what happened to if I needed to talk to you I could."

"Fine. I'm listening." I took a deep breath before started. She listened attentively as I shared almost everything to her. I didn't even know why I was telling her all this, maybe she was right I just needed someone to talk to, someone who would listen.

Something in her changed while I was telling my story. It was like she became soft, her compassion and sympathy towards me was something I never had before. It made me feel like she was really there for me, maybe she was?

"can I hug you?" She asked me.

"I feel like you need that, need to feel someone being there for you." She was most definitely right.

"Yea." She pulled me in and honestly that was the best hug I've ever had. It was warm and tight, it was something I haven't had in along time.

She pulled away when I didn't want to let go. "I'm sorry but do you mind holding me a little longer?"

"Sure." She laid back in bed as I came up beside her. Her arms wrapped around me tightly continuing our embrace. We ended up falling asleep as her aunt woke us up.

"Y'all gone sleep over dinner?"

"What time is it?"

"6."

"Oh man."

"Aunt Karen is it ok if she spend the night?" I looked at her in a say what now expression. Her aunt look at me then back at her.

" I guess."

"Thank you." Her aunt nodded her head leaving us in the room.

"Why you want me to spend the night? You trynna kill me or something? You gone drug me ain it, you look like one them people who do that so they can't find a trace of what kill me and declare it a natural cause." She looked at me and laughed for the first time I've ever spoken to her. Her laugh was pretty, like I can't explain it but it was. The way her nose scrunched up was so cute.

"No, I just feel to need to be here for you."

"Thank you."

"No problem, now let's go eat I'm hungry after cutting yo ass."

"Cut my ass? Yea I'll give you that one."

"Mhm, come on. I got a pair of basketball shorts you can wear."

"Alright." We went downstairs to eat as her aunts just looked between me and her.

"So Jada, why decided to be a bully to my niece, is she ugly or something. Did she do something to your first, I'm just trying to see something here."

"Uh, no she did nothing. I wanted to be her friend but I thought she wouldn't speak to me, like I thought she was stuck up and conceited. She was way out of my league in most cases. So I thought I had to force her to speak but I didn't know that I was actually pushing her away. I've apologized over and over, I promise it won't happen again."

"It better not."

"Tap, how come your attitude changed toward her cause if it was me I'm sorry but I would've turned the other way."

"See that's why you're Jacky."

"And there's no other, I'm the best."

"Alright."

"Oh boy, but you have to forgive though you may not forget. The problem maybe deeper than you know, all that person may need is for someone to listen so I volunteered to be that person. Sometimes people go through things that nobody knows of, they fight battles in there head. Pick and choose, to give up or keep going. Sometimes all a person need is for someone to actually be there and for that reason, I put what she's done behind and decided to focus on her problems and helping her get past them." I looked at her in awe, she understood completely without repeating myself she truly understood. Her other aunt just looked at her and smiled

"We raised you well."

"Yea, I guess we did."

"Jacky you ain—."

"Oh hush Karen you're ruining the moment."

"Fine, fine." We continued talking as I got to know a little more bout Tyanna. It felt good knowing I now had someone, and if need be she had me too.....
