The Bet Part 2

Aimee's POV
As I get out the shower I dry off and wash my face then brush my teeth. I walk out of my bathroom and put on some lotion and walk into my closet to chose an outfit.

After I finish getting dressed I make my way to my vanity and start to do my make up.

After I finish with my make up I put on some perfume and make my to my living from where I left my phone and purse. As I reach out for my phone and purse I get a call and it's JJ telling me he is outside. I walk out my house and lock up before closing the door and walk towards the blonde who is smiling and hands me an extra helmet. I look at him in confusion and tell him that there is no way I will put on a helmet and ruin my hair, " It's for protection, I think your life is my important then getting helmet hair" he tells me. I roll my eyes and take the helmet from his hands and put it on. "Where are we going anyways?" I ask JJ, "That's a surprise". After about 30 minutes we made it to our destination. "Alright we're here, come-on" he says as I fix my hair. He looks at me and smiles "what" I say. "Nothing, you look really beautiful" he says and looks at me up and down while smiling and biting his lower lip. "Thank you" I say to him smiling and blush at his compliment. "You don't look to bad yourself" I say back, "Thanks" he says to me.
As we walk to a picnic that is set up on the beach with arrangement. "Wow, this is amazing" I tell JJ. "Yeah my friends helped out setting up" he replies back.

JJ's POV
After we finish eating, we walk along the shore line the water touching our bare feet. We talk about ourselves to get to know each other better. The more I learn about Aimee the more interesting she is and come to find out we have a lot in common. I tell her about the pouges and how I don't really go home because of my dad. Then she tells me about her parents death and how she used to be an alcoholic and druggie. She also talked about her older sister Nia and how she is her guardian. After we talk we decide to go get ice cream and then go home. As we clean up and make our way to my bike Aimee looks at me and smiles "Thanks for tonight I had a great time" she says and I start to feel bad for using her as a bet but don't want to hurt her so I tell her I had fun to and I did. I didn't know that I would actually want to have a relationship with anyone yet alone have feelings for them but Aimee she was different she wasn't like my random hook ups. She was caring, gentle, kind, loving and just one of a kind. After we get on my bike we make our to the ice cream parlor which is about 10 minutes away. We walk in and order our flavors "one cookie dough and...." Aimee says looking at me waiting for me to answer "Strawberry" I say to her. "one cookie dough and one strawberry cone please she says to the man behind the counter. We walk to a table as wait for cones are ready. "What do want to do when we graduate high school" she asks me. "I don't really do school, and besides everyone all tells me I'm gonna end up like my dad" I say with and awkward smile. She looks at me and says "Well I don't think you will, you have great friends and an amazing personality. Don't let anyone tell you other wise" smiling at me. I can't help but feel like good about myself as she tells me that. Our ice cram cones arrive and we eat them and leave and go out the parlor and back to my bike as I drive back to Aimee's house.

Aimee's POV
As we make our way into the drive way I get off JJ's bike and take off the helmet and thank him for the date. I didn't realize that I would like him this much. I lean in and kiss him on the check and tell him to call me waving at him as I made way into my house. I walk in and see Nia in the kitchen eating dinner, "How was your date?" She asks me grinning from ear to ear and teases me about how I liked JJ. "It was so much fun, and he was amazing. He set up a picnic at the beach and we talked about ourselves and then went to get ice-cream" I say to my sister who is excited for me and tells me that's it's about time that I went on date since it's been almost two years since my break up with my toxic ex Riley who also abused me. I look at her and smile. "I'm grade your happy you deserve it after everything you've been through you deserve to be happy and the best that life has to offer" Nia says while giving me a hug. "Thanks Nia, JJ is actually really thoughtful and amazing I think you'd like him and so would mom & dad" I say to her. "Then bring him for dinner if you want so I can meet the guy who mad my sister happy again". We say good night to each other and fo to our own rooms. I shut my door and go to my bathroom and take shower and get ready for bed. I dry off and put on my pajamas and wash off all my make up and brush my teeth and hop into bed bed and under my sheets. I turn on my tv and watch Degrassi: Next Generation. About 3 episodes in I turn off my tv and decided to text JJ good night

Aimee: hey JJ! Just wanted to thank you again for tonight. Hope we can do this again. Good Night 🌙
JJ: hi Aimee, I'm glade you had fun, so did I & I would like to go on a second date with you, the pouges and I are gonna have a boat day tomorrow if you wanna join it'll be fun.        Aimee: that sounds great, when should I be ready?                                                                         JJ: be easy by 1pm, I'll be over to pick you with John B.                                                                   Aimee: cool, can't wait! See you tomorrow!      JJ: see you tomorrow, also make sure to bring an extra set of clothes we are all sleeping over at John B's.                                                                 Aimee: okay, Good Night 🌙                                JJ: night.                                                                    JJ's POV
I put my phone back on the night stand near my bed and tell the rest of the pouges that Aimee is gonna be with us tomorrow. Then go back to bed. I put the blanket over my body and fall asleep.
