Pope's POV

"C'mon get up JJ!! We have mid-terms today and we can't be late" I say as I shake him awake. "Dude, chill I'm up, I'm up" he answers back. "Let's go John B and Kie are waiting for us outside" I tell him as I make my way out the door. "Is he coming?" asks John B "He's putting on his shoes" I tell him. "Are we picking up Aimee too?" asks Kie looking at John B who looks at JJ as he sits down next to me in The Twinkie. "Yeah, we get here on the way there" answers JJ. "Thank god I don't have to deal with all your male testosterone by myself" she tell them as she laughs and the three of us flip her off. "How did you get a girl like Aimee anyway? JJ" she asks him. "Got lucky, I guess!"

Time Skip/At School-

While we make our way to our lockers I bump into a girl and apologize quickly and when I look up to see her, it's like she is prettiest girl I have ever scene. "It's okay! Would you know where Mr. Sunn for World Geography is? I'm new and I'm lost" she says looking at me. " Yeah, I actually have him right now if you want to follow me" I tell her. "Really, thank you that's great, my name is y/n" she says while extending her hand out. I shake her hand and tell her my name. While we are talking I can her my friends talking and laughing behind us. I know they are talking about me and y/n. When we reach Mr. Sunn's room, we take our seats and y/n takes the empty seat next to me. "Hello class go ahead get exam and while we have time I would for us to welcome our new student y/n l/n who is from New York" Mr. Sunn announces as we pull out our books. "Ms. y/l/n would you please tell us your name and 3 fun facts about yourself" y/n stands up and makes her to the front of the classroom. "Hi as you already know my name is y/n y/l/n, I like trying new things going surfing, and my favorite food is Chinese food."

After we are done with our midterms, we decide to head back to John Bs to relax and have fun. "Hey Pope, what do you think about y/n?" asks John B already mocking me knowing a I like her. "Yeah, P do you think she's pretty cause the way you looked at her was like she is the most beautiful girl in the world" JJ joins in laughing. "She's really pretty and I want to know her more she seems down to earth but I don't know how to ask her out" I state. "Aww our little boy is growing up" John B says as he wraps his arm around JJ's shoulder and wipes a fake tear off his face. "He sure is" says JJ going along with John B's joke. "Guys stop! I thin k its sweet that Pope likes her and is genuine about it" says Aimee as she lightly shoves JJ on his chest, "Yeah guys its really cute when a guy likes a girl and wants to make a good impression on her" Sarah says as she looks at John B. "If you want, we can help you out" Kie says. "Really you girls  wouldn't mind." "We would love to Pope" answers Sarah. "Thanks" I say and smile. The next day we go to the beach and surf most of the time than go to The Wreck.

-Monday back at School-

As I take my seat in Mr. Sunn's class, I notice that y/n is in her seat and working on the extra credit work that he told the class about last week. "Hey, are gonna  "Yeah do the extra credit too?" she asks me. "Yeah! What are you gonna do your essay on?" She looks at me like if she is thinking of an idea and says "I don't know yet but something interesting and that no one really knows about. What about you?" she asks me. " I think I'm gonna write about The Royal Merchant legend says that it is here in Outer Banks right off the cost in lost at sea" she looks at me surprised, "Wait is that actually real?" she asks me. "Yeah! my best friend John B's dad actually went looking for it a couple weeks ago. He is really into stuff like that." After class was over, I headed to lunch to meet up with the rest of the pogues "Hey guys! Is it okay if y/n eats with us I invited her to eat with us" I asked my friends. "Yeah man" said John B "How is it going with y/n anyway?" asked Aimee as she took her seat next to JJ. "It's actually going really good" I replied back. After a couple minutes of talking with the pogues y/n finally shows up and I introduce her to everyone "This is John B and Sarah, Kie and Cleo, & that's Aimee and JJ." Everyone got along with y/n and the girls had invited her to their girl's night. After lunch was over, we all went to our next classed luckily, I had class with all the pogues. "Y/n is really cool Pope I can see why you like her. You should invite her to the chateau and have Pogue night" said John B smiling at me. I was really happy that everyone likes y/n. When school was done, I made my way to my locker to get the rest of my books and when I get their y/n is already there waiting by my locker with the girls. "Hey" she smiles at me "The girls invited me over to John Bs on Friday for a pogues night". I laughed and thanked the girls as y/n walked away.
