Chapter 31 (Zamasu)

(Goki's POV)

I opened my eyes and I'm in a room. I looked around and saw (Y/N) and Vegeta laying on the floor. Bulma and Trunks gave them a senzu bean and they woke up.

Goki: What happened to us?

I sat up. My memories of what happened came back to me.

Goki: Oh right. We lost.

Vegeta: How could we have lost that badly?

(Y/N): I don't know.

Bulma: What even happened to you three?! I got worried sick when I saw a hole through Vegeta's chest!

(Y/N): They wiped the floor with us.

Bulma: They?

Vegeta: Black has a friend. He took my Final Flash without a scratch.

Bulma: What?! No way! How is that possible?!

(Y/N): He said he is indestructible. And as of right now, it's true.

Goki: Plus Black has a powerful form. It's like Super Saiyan Blue, but pink.

Bulma: Pink? Please don't say you named it Super Saiyan Pink.

Goki: Nope. Black named it Rosé.

Bulma: That's a stupid name.

(Y/N): Thank you for saying it!

Trunks: To think that stopping Black is a goal still far from achieving.

I looked over at (Y/N) and he started to think about something.

Goki: (Y/N)?

(Y/N): I've been thinking. That green guy, he looks a lot like Supreme Kai. There might be a connection there.

Goki: Yeah, I noticed that too.

Vegeta: You two can figure that out. I'll be training to knock Black's teeth in.

Vegeta got up and started to walk away.

Trunks: I'm coming too.

Trunks ran up to catch up with Vegeta. I got up and so did (Y/N).

Goki: Hey Bulma, are Beerus and Whis here?

Bulma: Yeah. They're eating some parfaits right now.

(Y/N): Can I have one?

Bulma: Later.

(Y/N) crossed his arms and pouted.

(Y/N): So mean. You don't even know what I went through.

I patted him on the back. Me and (Y/N) walked out the room and went to a balcony. I saw Beerus and Whis sitting at a table. They are eating parfaits and they certainly look like they are enjoying it.

Whis: Oh, look who has returned. Was it successful?

I shook my head no.

Goki: We got some new information.

Beerus: About what?

(Y/N): Black has a friend and he looks like the Supreme Kai.

Beerus: Looks like him?

Goki: Yeah. He's green and talks about killing mortals.

Whis: Interesting. That sounds like Zamasu.

(Y/N): Zamasu?

Whis: He's a Supreme Kai in training from Universe 10. Although this is the first time I've heard of him talking about killing mortals.

Beerus: Tell me saiyans. How did Black travel back in time?

Goki: Trunks asked him that when Black was here and he raised his hand up. He has some weird ring on him.

Beerus gained a serious look on his face.

Beerus: A Time Ring.

Goki: Time Ring? What's that?

Whis: It's a tool used by Kais. The fact that Black has one is troubling.

Beerus: Whis. Pack your things. We are going to see this Zamasu a visit.

Goki: Oh, can I come?! Can I?! Can I?!

Beerus: Sure, whatever. Just don't make any stupid decisions.

Goki: Yes! Come on (Y/N)!

I ran up to Whis and Beerus. I noticed (Y/N) hasn't moved from his spot.

Goki: (Y/N)?

(Y/N): You can go on without me. I don't want to get in the way of anything and mess something up.

He put his hands on his hips and looked away. I want him to come, but Beerus stopped me.

Beerus: I don't have time to wait here. It's going to be a long trip so I want to get there as soon as possible.

Whis: Alright my lord.

Whis tapped his staff on the floor. A bright light appeared around us and me, Whis, and Beerus started to fly.

Goki: I'll tell you what happens!

I shouted, hoping (Y/N) heard me.

(Readers POV)

I saw the three disappear, leaving a streak of light behind them. I heard someone walking towards me. I looked back and saw Trunks.

Trunks: Hey (Y/N).

(Y/N): Trunks, I thought you were going to train with Vegeta.

Trunks: Father said that he doesn't want to train with me, so I was hoping to see if we can train.

(Y/N): I'll be honest. I'm not in the mood right now.

Trunks: What? Why?

I thought back to what happened in the future.

Black: After all, you were only the appetizer.

His words stayed in my mind. Even though it's not the Goku I grew up knowing, hearing his voice say that to me, it hurts. I clenched my fists and took a deep breath. I shouldn't let it get into my head. That's not Goku.

(Y/N): Just think it's better to rest right now and think about what to do next.

Trunks: Oh, right. Thinking about a plan would be a good idea.

(Y/N): My best idea would be to take out Zamasu first.

Trunks: Zamasu?

(Y/N): He's the green guy.

Trunks: Gotcha. But didn't he say he's indestructible? How are we going to do that?

This is getting frustrating. I walked past Trunks without saying a word.

Trunks: (Y/N)?

(Y/N): ...

I walked inside Capsule Corp. I walked past Bulma, who's holding a parfait.

Bulma: Hey (Y/N). I got you that parfait you wanted.

I grabbed it from her hands without saying a word. I walked over to my room and walked inside the room. I sat down on my bed and took a bite from the parfait. I looked at the time and it's getting late. I put the parfait on a nearby table and laid down on my bed and I shut my eyes.
