Chapter 73 (Moro)

(Readers POV)

Vegeta, currently in Super Saiyan Blue, is looking at Moro.

Goki: Letting him get all cocky so he'd talk. Smooth move, Vegeta.

I smirked. It was a good move on Vegeta's part. Moro knows nothing about us, so he can fall for tactics like that.

Moro: ...

He raised his hands up, making more pillars of dirt infused with energy to burst out of the ground and launching them at Vegeta. He smirked as he dashed forward, dodging and weaving the attacks that tried to hit him. Vegeta got up to Moro and kicked him in the stomach.

Moro: Gak!!

The force of the kick launched Moro down into a nearby lake. Vegeta let out a sigh and powered down into base form and landed on the ground.

(Y/N): This Moro guy can't handle us from the looks of it. Right, Goki?

I looked over at her, but she's looking at a nearby tree. I looked at it and saw it losing its leaves. Goki looked down at her hands.

Goki: Something is happening.

(Y/N): What do you mean?

I started to feel strange too. I can't quite describe it. I noticed that Moro had risen up out of the water. He stared at Vegeta.

Vegeta: I don't care what sort of villain you are, but I won't sit by while this planet suffers. Which means YOU need to be eliminated.

Goki: Be on guard, Vegeta! Something weird is going on!

Vegeta looked back at us.

Vegeta: What?

The spaceship that Moro arrived on is flying through the sky. Moro suddenly launched a couple balls of energy at me, Goki, and Vegeta. We all put our guard as the energy balls hit the ground, causing a bunch of smoke and dust to cover our vision.

Vegeta: Damn it!

Vegeta waved his hand, making enough force to blow the dust and smoke away. I saw that Moro isn't above the water anymore.

Vegeta: Tch... Where did that scum slink off to?!

Goki: Guys, there!

I saw Goki pointing in a direction. I looked in that direction and saw Moro standing on top of a small mountain. Energy was coming from the ground is going up into a ball above Moro.

(Y/N): What are you doing?

Vegeta: Make that thing as big as you like. Your technique is useless against me now.

Moro just smirked as he continued to gather energy. Small balls of energy started to come out from over the area. From the trees, grass, dirt, and even the water. The ball of energy above Moro got even bigger as it absorbed more energy.

Goki: I think we need to stop him before he gets more energy.

Before we could do anything, Moro clenched his hand into a fist, making the huge ball above him small. Small enough to fit in the palm of a hand. Moro brought the ball up to his mouth and ate the energy.

(Y/N): He ate it?!

A burst of energy came from Moro's body. He looked down at us.

Moro: Hmph... That first meal in a long time does the body good.

Vegeta: I get it. So that's how you go around absorbing energy.

Moro looked over at the spaceship flying away. He pointed a finger at it, making the spaceship stop. Moro pointed down, causing the spaceship to crash down into the ground.
