I turned back to Karl "do you think we could get a puppy when we get back home" he smiled and said "I'll think about it but it's gonna need to be trained" I nodded my head quickly and said "I could train it I'm gonna be it's momma eeeeee" I got up and started jumping up and down He grabbed my waist and pulled me back to the sofa and we put on a film none of us had watched before. We decided on Marley and me we laughed and then that sad part came
Tears flowed down my face until I started sobbing. "NNOOOOOO MARLEYYYYYY"
I was now crying uncontrollably so Karl pulled me into his chest. But then the worst thing happened
My phone buzzed I had a notification from Snapchat it was my mom... She had sent a video of her and my dad crying in the vets With the caption 'nibbles is gone I'm so sorry baby'
I tried to get up but fell to my knees screaming "AHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Niki looked at my phone which I had dropped on the sofa before slapping a hand to her mouth and silently crying. I I grabbed my phone and ran upstairs slamming my door and locking it. I screamed before running to my bed "NO NO NO NO NO NO NIBBLES YOU CANT PLS I NEED YOU"
I kicked my light across my room and it shattered I threw myself onto my bed and just lay there sobbing until I heard everyone else go to sleep. I then got up and grabbed my skate board before running out the house. I skated away and reached a park I felt slightly suspicious but I shrugged it off to the feeling of the loss of my dog. Ten more minutes went by and I still couldn't shake the feeling I was being followed. So I got off my board and started walking slowly then stopped to 'do my shoelace' when I bent down to buckle my shoes tighter I realised there was a shadow behind me who also stopped.
I turned around and started walking that way when I realised he started walking just as I passed him. He had also taken out his phone and was trying to catch up with me but trying not to act weird as there was still others around. I put my board down and tried to skated away when I felt a hand grab my wrist. I turned my head a hooded figure was grasping my wrist. "Umm I'm sorry can you let me go pls I've had a really bad day I just want to be alone" "No darling come with me" I started to worry and shook my head while smiling politely "I'm sorry but I can't do that I'm trying to go home" He wouldn't give up or let go of me I tried to elbow him but he didn't take his hand off me. I went into my bag which was black so he couldn't see it but I grabbed my taser and tased him and whilst he jumped back in pain I made my escape. I had made my way back home with a very quick escape and lost him at a round about. I ran into the house and hid my skateboard again before running to my room. Did that really just happen Who knew that carrying that bag mom made would help Wow I was in so much shock I didn't notice when Karl came into my room.
He sat next me and hugged me. "Niki told me what happened with your dog and everything"
Should I tell him what if he tells I'm gonna tell him
"See what Niki didn't tell you is something neither her or my parents know" "My best friend died when I was younger I was about eleven but what no one knows is after her death I started to self harm and I convince my parents to get me that dog because I would always pass him in the way to and from school and he would always lick my wounds and try to help them. So that's why we got nibbles" He looked completely shocked "you haven't done it again have you" I shook my head then showed him my wrists. "I'm about year or so clean" He nodded and pulled me into a tight hug. We fell asleep and in the morning I woke up and he wasn't next to me all I found was a note saying 'gone to run some errands with Niki be back soon' I read it and no one else was home I walked into the kitchen and I almost fell over when I saw nibbles in the corner of the kitchen. I screamed and shut my eyes and shook my head violently. He was gone but all I could hear was his little yaps and it over powered me I ran to my bathroom and grabbed my blade looking at it intensely the numbness was too much I needed something to show me I was still alive because it didn't feel like it anymore. I dragged the blade across my thigh and again and again and again until i drew so much blood I couldn't ignore it anymore. I threw the blade in the bin and wrapped a bandage around my thigh and made my way downstairs and skipped halfway through a film so when they got home it looked like that was all I was doing. They finally got home and Niki came and hugged me. "I got some news for you it's really good news" I got suspicious and raised an eyebrow when I realised Karl was gone. "what is it and where is Karl" Then I turned to the door to see Karl holding a new Pomeranian puppy

"I know she could never replace nibbles but I thought that she could help you move on and you were saying how you wanted a new puppy"
I smiled and felt a little dizzy but I shook that off. Until five minutes later when puffy and minx returned with food when I got up everything went black and I felt my head collide with the floor.
