Chapter eleven

It was the next morning when we woke up to a loud impatient knocking on the door. I got Karl up and we both went to the door so no one was alone. I opened the door slowly I saw Niki stood there soaked, she had been running. I noticed her joggers and one of my big hoodies I had given her before I moved away. It was pouring it down so I quickly let her inside.
"Hey why are you outside at this time it's only seven"
She smiled then said "I have been running to sort out my mind to clear it out"
I nodded in understanding I was happy she had kept the hoodie so I brought it up.
We sat down for four hours before it was announced that there was a storm on the way and it was recommended not to travel during as it was dangerous. So I told Niki she would have to stay until the storm had stopped or settled more.

It had been a few days and Niki was still at ours and she had helped us with the packing. We had managed to finish packing within a day and a half thanks to Niki. We were now onto finding routes for getting to and from the ward house as it was closer but also more traffic filled.
The storm had finally ended and now it was ok to start travelling again so we gave her some food and we gave her a lift back home just in case.

When we were on our way back my phone started ringing I answered and put it on loud speaker so now we could both hear.

"Hello Luna here how can I help you"
"Hey this is Millie the former owner of the house you have purchased well you can now move in whenever your ready as we have finished moving out."
Karl spoke up "thats great news thank you so much would we be able to begin moving things in in about an hour"
"Yes that's absolutely fine"
"Ok thank you so much Millie I hope to speak to you again soon"

We got home and began piling boxes in the car I can't believe this was finally happening we were finally moving to a house we both own and can call home for real.
