"A holiday we don't even celebrate, yet you give us gifts...? (Name), your full of surprises."

Hikaru and Kaoru woke up early in the morning as the bright rays of the sun shone through the silver and gold lined curtains. They stayed under the warm sheets, huddled next to each other as if they couldn't let go. Hikaru let out a soft groan in discomfort as his mind raced from the eventful week at school. Kaoru made no signs of discomfort, unlike his twin.

"Master Hikaru, Master Kaoru." Two maids stood at the doorway, twins as well. "We brought you gifts from an aquaintence of yours."

Hikaru sat up, his toned chest revealing itself as he slipped the blanket off of him. Kaoru soon awoke as well, staring at their unfazed maids as he yawned. It wasn't unusual that someone, both male and female would confess their undying love for one of the twins by sending gifts. Usually the twins ordered the maids to get rid of the gift, but something told them not to.

"Can you bring it over here?" Kaoru asked in a soft voice. The maid on the left swiftly agreed, placing a box that was indeed a bit heavy next to the twins.

Hikaru stroked the box. "I wonder what it is." He looked up at the maids and thanked them before dismissing them. He pulled the box over to his own lap, undoing the perfect knot that made a ribbon and letting it fall to the ground.

Kaoru looked into the box, seeing three other boxes and a letter. He took the letter out, opening it and reading it aloud.

"Three Presents for Two Kings
Hope you enjoy them
-(Name)"

Hikaru picked up the first box, of Frankincense. Quickly, the aroma of the box filled their noses. The elder twin opened the pleasant smelling box, only to find an expensive bottle of perfume.

Kaoru took the next box, his edges lightly up like a child's on Christmas Eve. "Oh wow..." He mumbled as he opened a darker wooden box, one that had no aroma, but was more beautiful. The gift of two necklaces were received.

Hikaru and Kaoru both glanced at the last box, one made of pure gold. It made their chest clench from hoe much money the think you spent getting them gifts, though you only knew then for a week! Hikaru slowly reached out for the last box, and opened it. Kaoru took out a small pair of golden earrings, though it looks made for only one ear. They both glanced at each other in confusion.

"What day is it today?" Hikaru had asked first, closing the boxes and seeing them on the bed.

Kaoru thought for a moment. "The sixth."

Hikaru grabbed his phone and began to search up holidays that were celebrated this day.

Kaoru looked over his shoulder and pointed to one. "Three Kings Day," He read aloud. "Oh."

Shutting his phone off, Hikaru laid back down on the soft bed. "Hmph..." Without noticing, a smile formed on his face.

Kaoru slumped back into a sleeping position and smiled.

You may not have seen their emotions in person, but in your heart you knew they liked the gifts.
