The sunshine when it rains

Though I never asked to fill in the blanks
You made love so easy to fall for even though I didn't fall for you first
I may have had my fair share of crushes but none of those feelings could ever compare to how I felt about being with you
You make love such an art if only I knew it from the very start
Hopefully one day I will get asked to prom
But I guess for now I will just have to be grateful in thanksgiving for the universe for giving me the dream that is of you.
