Whitney always was someone who wanted to be honest especially to those she was close with. When she got home to her and Robyn's condo she gave a Bible and informed her they couldn't be physical anymore. She also said why she made this decision: she didn't want to go to hell and she wanted to start her career have a husband and kids and asked her to love her unconditionally. Robyn understood, Robyn was a really good friend to Whitney but she was in love with her so it was hard for her to accept it but she was willing to do whatever to be around Nippy. Whitney loved Robyn she still wanted her around but Whitney also was getting more and more interested in men so she knew she had to make this decision.

Whitney and Robyn loved their new condo more space and it was in a better area. Neither one of them could cook so majority of the time the food was junk. They had more money still was doing drugs but not a lot just recreational. Robyn notice Whitney liked it a little took much. Robyn could stop but Whitney would keep doing it until it wasn't anymore she got concerned and questioned Whitney about it. Whitney brushed it off so Robyn decided she would give Cissy a warning about it. Cissy did question Whitney about it but she told her mommy Robyn was overreacting while brushing it off. Cissy believed Whitney and left it alone. Whitney was upset about Robyn telling her mom but she didn't say anything to Robyn about it. There was enough tension in the house.

Whitney released her first album "Whitney" in February 1985 and of course it blew up. It started slow but eventually it had 7 # hits. Whitney didn't expect her album to do so good she was so excited and happy to see what was next expected in her life.
Clive's deal got Whitney a new condo her and Robyn moved him they were living lavish. They still did everything together even thought there was no more physically touch. Whitney eventually got in a entanglement with Jermaine Jackson from Jackson 5 who she did a couple duets with. It was brief because he was a married man. Jermaine Married Hazel Gordy daughter of Betty Gordy a well known record executive who founded Motown. Jermaine Jackson was handsome to Whitney and she admired him growing up she loved the Jackson 5, he told her he wasn't happy with Hazel so Whitney wanted to help him. Whitney was the type to trust everyone when she shouldn't. That was one of her main obstacle. When Whitney realized that's Jermaine wasn't going to leave his wife she dropped him like a bad habit. Nippy sung one of her biggest hits Saving all my love for you about him even had a look alike in the video.

Whitney decided to forget about dating she will focus on her career and started touring. Robyn joined and eventually they hired Silvia as Whitney's assistant. Whitney notice how jealous Robyn was about Jermaine and she couldn't understand why she had told Robyn she wanted a husband so why would she be mad that I'm dating men she wondered. Whitney pushed it to the side because she didn't like confrontation and just went along with touring. Whitney loved the water so between touring and working she loved to take vacation around the world especially by the water. She took Robyn and Silva with her they had some good times on yachts and private beaches. When they vacated they just smoked weed and went to clubs sometimes. Whitney wasn't a morning person so they usually hung out in the evening and at night.

Whitney just kept getting bigger and better. The world wanted to know more about her she was a beautiful woman who could sing like a angel but that's only thing they knew. No one ever seen Whitney with a man so the music industry started to wonder is Whitney gay because she's always around Robyn who looked like a lesbian. They would find ways to ask her even calling her office and it really upset her because she was a very private person. Whitney couldn't understand why the media cared all she wanted to do was sing. Now she understood what Cissy was trying to warn her about the music industry. When interviewed and asked about her sexuality Nippy always denied being gay she didn't consider herself gay. Whitney had only been with Robyn she felt l ine that couldn't make her gay because she liked men she wanted a husband eventually.

Robyn got upset about the rumors too she didn't know why the media cared about her she never liked for the spotlight but she did still loved nippy and understood nippy didn't want her that way. Whitney told reporters Robyn was the like the sister she never had. That statement bothered Robyn but she never said anything about it. When she realized Jermaine and Whitney was dating she was very hurt not only because they were dating but Whitney didn't tell her about it. Whitney was holding secrets which she never did before. Her and Robyn told each other everything so to her this was a slap in the face. She felt like she was slowing losing nippy.

Whitney was now a model and singer. She was one of the best singers even in the earlier 80s she was something different to look at. Nothing like Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, Tina turner or Aretha Franklin . Her voice was different and it was beautiful sweet angel in the public's eyes she was America's princess. That's another reason the media wanted to know about her sexuality they believed it would tell them more about what type of person Whitney was.
