You awoke to the sound of pouring rain and thunder in the dark of night. You arose from your bed, gazing out the window at the storm outside.

Although it seemed childish, you were frightened about being alone in the dark and dreary storm. So you texted your boyfriend Liam, hoping maybe he could text you through this.

The only response you got from your text was "you will never be alone."

Before you could wonder what he meant, you heard the doorbell. As you opened the door, you saw him, soaking wet and holding a bouquet of roses.

You kissed him in the rain, so thankful he had arrived and you were in his arms.

As the storm passed, you both cuddled in your bed, happily resting by one another in the darkness.
