4th year: Chapter 20 The Yule Ball

~December 25 1994~

~Harry's POV~

Today was the yule ball. I don't expect this night to be great because I'm not even going with the girl I wanted to go with but I can't go by myself

I was already in my dress robes the only thing I had left to do was brush my teeth and check on Ron

I go to our bathroom and then see Ron already in his dress robes looking himself in the mirror

"WHAT ARE THOSE"! Ron shouted but not too loud but I stilled jump of surprised

"My dress robes" I said still looking at Ron and on what he's wearing

"But there all right, no lace, no dugil little color" said Ron looking at his dress robes

"Well- well I expected yours to be more traditional" I said trying not to laugh but also trying to convince him it's fine

"Traditional. Their ancient!" said Ron having a worry look in his face "I'm a great artistic"

"Smell like my great artistic" said Ron smelling under his armpit. Ron then turned around and looked himself in the mirror again

"Muder me Harry" he commented. I just look at him and didn't say anything

After some time I finally got Ron to get out of the dorm, we were outside the great hall walking down the stairs

"Leave it alone!" I whisper shouted at him "Unless you want to get out of this outfit and come out naked" I snapped at him which made Ron wide his eyes

"Bloody hell Harry, are you crazy" said Ron whisper shouting back "I will bring a camera and give it to your mother like she asked me to"! I said

We were now outside the great hall but we were early, seeing also many people waiting to get in

Me and Ron went to the corner to talk better and so no one could hear us

"Don't be ridiculous anyway poor kid" said Ron quickly changing the subject "What kid?" I asked

"Hermione. Poor her nobody asked her" Ron said "And how would you know that" I said in confusion

"I asked Hermione to the dance" Ron started explaining but I interrupted him

"Wait- you asked her out!" I asked, I needing to know if he asked her the same day he was supposed to ask Y/N

"Yes but she told me somebody already asked her out mad, I asked her because Fred showed me how easy it was to asked a girl out and I tried to do the same thing with Hermione and she got mad at me but wouldn't tell me who was going with but I know she's lying to me" said Ron now telling me everything

I couldn't believe this, Ron really does have the craziest stories but I do believe this one is ture but not sure about Hermione's going with no one

But I still got to know if Ron really did try to ask Y/N the same day he asked Hermione

"And when did you asked her" I asked "The same day I tried to ask Y/N out" Ron spilled out

I was in complete shocked. He really tried to asked two girls in the same day WHAT?

"But don't worry I asked Hermione first and then Y/N"
"When?" was all I could get out of my mouth

"Um- in the morning, in the great hall" Ron started to look at me weird on wanted to know all of this information

The gates start to open and all the guest were going in. Me and Ron walked closer and then our dates showed the Patil twins came up to us

"Hello boys" they both said "Ron you look... dashing" said Padma sarcastic then Professor McGonagall came up to all of us
